The deteriorating situation abroad.
« on: February 18, 2008, 08:50:00 PM »
As you are now aware, Taijitu, along with allies and regions sharing a common interest, are embroiled in conflict in order that we might defeat the Westind Regime in TNP and defeat Gatesville and Equalism's plans to create a feeder Hegemony under them.

Two days ago, the Westwind Regime declared war on The Pacific, Taijitu's treatied ally and friend. It had been my hope that this situation would begin to relent, as more and more regions enlist themselves in this battle against Gatesville control over NS. This, however, is not the case. The situation becomes more inflamed by the day, and a state of global war does appear imminent, if not already here.

It is in response to these actions by Westwind that Taijitu puts into effect, a declaration of War against the Westwind Regime of The North Pacific, as well as the closing of Taijitu - Gatesville embassies. We will not stand by while our allies are attacked and bullied, we will not stand by while NS itself, as we know it, is threatened. We will take the fight to them, and by God, we will win.

Taijitu is far from alone in this fight, regions across the globe are joining the ranks of The Opposition daily. Taijitu's dedication to the cause will be unwavering and absolute. There is no alternative to victory.

Some have answered their regions call, and joined the military, and I can not thank you enough. You are truly among teh 1337. I ask again though, to those who are able, but have not joined, your service is needed by your home, by your region. Please contact PoD Gunner or Meridianland as soon as possible. Service in the military is quick, easy, and relatively painless, but can do us all a world of good.

In a spot of good news, even in time of war and uncertainty, Taijitu is growing once again! Over 20 nations in three days, thanks to the efforts of dedicated recruiters giving their all. Thank you! Let this be a reminder to us, reassurance to our allies, and a warning to those who would do us harm.

 Taijitu bows to no one.

Except that the member of the High Council who declared war, JAL, (a notorious anti-Francoist) was quickly overulled by Westwind.
Nobody of importance.

Indeed, regardless, the status quo shall remain until Taijitu and her allies are victorious.

I think it's unfair that we have had absolutely no say in this whats so ever and I also think our Region of Taijitu is turning into a Dictatorship! Be that as it may I think we should have disbanded the senate a long time ago! The Senate had too much power to begin with.

God save us all!
