***BREAKING NEWS***
General Henry Winkler, Chief of the Defence Staff, has just finished a press confrence and he has stated that our Troops in Mainland China have sucessfully won three engagements with teh G-C loyalist army. He also stated that with the major defeat of the G-C military in Mainland China that Valideen Troops will be able to finaly secuare the remaining portions of the Mainland. He then went on to state that operations in the Islands are going as planned and that members of the 2nd Airborne Division have made contact with rouge military units formerly Loyal to the G-C Government.
If this statement is true then it means that the government of the G-C is in much greater trouble then first belive. General Winkler stated that the call up of the primary reserves is not nessesary as long as the tide of war in the G-C continues in our favour. After talking about the victories in the G-C the Winkler went on to speak about the recent deployments of the War fleets, which have effectivly sealed off the G-C from all international shipping and forign air support. During this portion of the press confrence he stated that members of the Navy had captured nearly 1000 G-C sailors and are now holding them at three seperate undisclosed detention facilities in southern Validus.
In other news the 3,000 members of VERsaF have left the country on emergency deployment to High Evermore, after that nation let out a plea to nations of Taijitu. The mission duration is unknown at this time, as such fresh recruits and veterans are being trained to rotate into High Evermore if VERsaF is needed longer then the 9month present deployment.
On the home front the New Sheridian Falcons destroyed the Titus Sea Stalions 5-1 in hockey last night. To comment on its Coach Henderson of the Falcons said it was a great victory and one the team needed. The Falcons had been on a 3 game loosing streak and with this victory had made it into the play offs.
