International Terrorist Network Suspected
21. December 3000 AL
During the visit of the Canadian Royal Family of Tower 17, a high ranking member of the Feniexian Forces opened fire upon both the Canadian and the Feniexian Royal Family through the window of a neighboring skyscraper. Before the towers automatic security systems could activate the window protection plates, Emperor Paul of Canada and Empress Miray Cordre were shot. Emperor Nathaniel Cordre was targeted too, but his bodyguard Winston T. saved him at the price of his own life. Canada's Emperor died immediately, the shot on him was aimed well; Empress Miray was not death as the shot pierced her, but lost her struggle for life to her wound shortly before the emergency medic squad arrived. Winston T., 34, died as a hero, and as such, received the Order of Merit 1st Class. The assassin, a highly dangerous politically motivated individual, brain-washed by anti-governmental terrorists, was captured by Civil Protection Officer Michael Watts, but not without wounding two CP men before he could be disarmed and brought to the citadel for interrogation. In the interrogation sessions before his suicide by hanging himself in his cell, he claimed that he was a member of a group called Ultra Freedom Fighters; if you can provide any informations about this group or other terrorist meetings, actions or suspicions, please visit your nearest Civil Protection office as soon as possible.
