To help you guys draft it, here's the documentation:
1. Go to Tests and select Question bank.
2. Select Import questions from the right hand panel.
3. Download a .txt file template, then simply add your questions to the template using an advanced text editor such as Notepad ++ (full instructions are provided below).
4. Now you can import your questions and check they are all correct (all required edits must be made to the .txt file, and then the whole file can be re-imported).
5. If you do not wish to edit anything select Save and your questions will be added to your Question bank instantly.
You can then add these questions to any of your tests as required.
Detailed instructions to edit import template
* Each new field (Type): (Category): and so on, must:
1. Start on a new line
2. Have one space directly after it (before you add your values)
* (Type): Must contain the exact question type as provided in red below

* (Category): Must be a number relating to your categories. Category IDs are provided on your import text template and as a pop up window from the right hand navigation under your Tests / Categories page. Use 0 if you do not use categories which relates to the default Generic category.
* (Grade style): Only applicable for 'Multiple response' questions
(Multiple response questions are simply Multiple choice questions, except they contain more then one correct answer).
Default is 0
o 0: Give full score only when all correct responses are provided
o 1: Give partial score per correct response and deduct partial score for incorrect responses
o 2: Give partial score per correct response but do not deduct partial score for incorrect responses
* (Random answers): Randomize multiple choice answers each time question is given
o 0: Do not randomize
o 1: Randomize
* (Question): Your question text. You can use BBcode and span multiple lines. Use the Enter key to create new lines just like a word document
* (A): Used for Multiple choice / Free text / True false / Punctuation answers
* (B): Used for Multiple choice / Free text / True false answers
* (C): Used for Multiple choice / Free text answers
* (D): Used for Multiple choice / Free text answers
* (E): Used for Multiple choice / Free text answers
* (F): Used for Multiple choice answers
* (G): Used for Multiple choice answers
* (H): Used for Multiple choice answers
* (I): Used for Multiple choice answers
* (J): Used for Multiple choice answers
* (Correct): The correct answer selection for Multiple choice / True false questions.
Example 1: C (if C if the correct answer).
Example 2: B,D (If both B and D are the correct answers)
* (Points): How many points the question is worth (decimals allowed). Example 1 or 3.5
* (CF): Correctly answered feedback
* (WF): Incorrectly answered feedback
* (STARTIGNORE) All lines between (STARTIGNORE) and (ENDIGNORE) tags will be ignored on importing (both tags must start on their own lines).
* (ENDIGNORE) Finish ignoring lines.
* Most Important: After you initially upload your question template,
ClassMarker will display your questions on screen for you to review and check for any mistakes.
Once you have confirmed all questions are correct (including correctly chosen answers are correct), you can then save the questions to use in ClassMarker.
