No, we should get things functional before kicking recruitment into gear. But part of getting things functional is assembling a recruitment team, IMO.

You know what would be neat? Actually doing something fun. This stuffy democracy gets real stale real quick. Do something neat. I'd be willing to be the dictator of Taijitu if you want I don't care as long as we attract people for our wonkiness.

I think we should take it in turns to be dictators of the region. We could have our own coups and everything.


Also, recruitment is automatic now... surely it would be easy for us to set something like that up if we wanted to do.

Taijitu festival, starts with a pillow fight, then a drinking contest and this is only at 11am. Then the big awesome banquet of marvelous foods, which is going to be an international hit. Then there's the sleeping giant contest, whoever snores the loudest wins. Several fair amusements start at 5pm to 7pm. at 8 to 9pm there's the international banquet of marvelous cultural foods where we'll feature not only taijitu foods but also from our allies, then there's the big party with several concerts, including a cocktail party with jazz concert, nordic metal show, opera by the lagoon, etc.

I would be up for joining the recruitment team.  I agree that we need to get the ground prepared before we can really attract newcomers.

I think 4 would be nice, maybe two simultaneous coups, like Syria with Hezzbollah trying to overthrow the corrupt government to put an Islamic/Lebanon favorable government; and the "West" trying to overthrow the corrupt government to put a new corrupt government; in the middle stands Syrian government trying to save their asses by dealing with Russia.
