ooc: Seeing as the slaughter was a ritualized murder, it probably would have taken at least an hour to happen. In order for the man to vomit, there'd probably have been an odor, which means the murder happened several hours before it was reported. You don't skin someone, attach hooks and chains to the ceiling, and leave them hanging like fresh meat in 5 minutes. Security doesn't need to be so tight, the murderer isn't going to be around anymore.
