Request from the Speaker:The Senate recently passed the bill "Oaths of Office", which lays out an oath to be taken by those requesting citizenship. It is as follows:
I, [forum name], do slomenly swear that I shall at all times obey and respect the laws of Taijitu, that I shall do nothing to imperil the safety and well being of the region or any of its members, and recognize that should I fail to comply to this oath that my citizenship and the immunities and privileges it entitles may by due process of law be forfeit.
I ask that the Minister of Internal Affairs put this oath at the head of this thread, and ask that when members apply for citizenship that they take this oath instead of the informal requests that have been used so far. I would also ask that the Minister of Internal Affairs contact all current citizens and request that they take this oath.
I, Pragmia, do slomenly swear that I shall at all times obey and respect the laws of Taijitu, that I shall do nothing to imperil the safety and well being of the region or any of its members, and recognize that should I fail to comply to this oath that my citizenship and the immunities and privileges it entitles may by due process of law be forfeit.
