Actually, the situation is very similar to the Iraq war. Iraq attacks Kuwait, America comes in and wipes them out. Ten years later, they demonized Iraq as a maker of WMDs, and came in as "liberators". Now the public has to suffer for a previous government's mistake.

We weren't attacking civilians either, they were the ones that attacked us right after. They weren't complying with us, and as you know, they must.
