Acillian Expansion
« on: July 18, 2007, 04:48:21 PM »
Alex had only just got back from the marine landings at Ryasania and he was already looking out over a readied fleet. "Why" he thought "Why did the prime speaker decide on the new territory for Acle to be a country and not unclaimed land." When he voiced his views to his friend all he got was "It is needed if supplies will reach further expansion which will be needed to ensure their security." He seemed to be the only one who could see through the propaganda of this invasion, but he would still have to take part in it as when he signed up for the armed forces he agreed to do whatever he was told to do by his superiors. The nation of Gandhar doesn't stand a chance against Acles military right and he though it was wrong to invade a country that stood no chance of removing its occupiers. "Men!" Shouted the ships captain "We depart for Gandhar in three hours make sure you are ready. In five days the full might of Acles entire marine fleet along with both the western and eastern battle fleets will hit Gandhar, and they won't know what hit them." The captain had no more to say so Alex settled down to himself and his thoughts.

Prime Speaker Frint looked over the large electronic map in his briefing room. There was a myriad of red dots amassing over the fleet around a thousand miles off the eastern coast of Gandhar. He knew that each of these was a B-52H Bomber each armed with twenty cruise missiles to bombard eastern Gandhar. Also on the maps were blue crosses which symbolized Nimrod aircraft going out to patrol the waters east to Gandhar and to remove and Gandharian vessels to the east.

On the deck of his transport ship Alex could see hundreds of large black aircraft forming up over the fleet like swarms of blackbirds. Suddenly the birds dropped their missiles and he watched thousands of missiles flying towards Gandhar. He knew that they were aimed at military targets but he knew some civilians would still be killed and maimed because of this bombardment.
