Looking for Farmland, among other opportunities
« on: April 08, 2007, 05:07:00 AM »
Greetings!

The Mercantilist Brewing Co. has recently expanded its tobacco lineup and is interested in purchasing land to expand production even further. With the exception of our management staff, only local citizens will be employed in all our facilities and farms.

Additionally, we are always looking for interesting business opportunities throughout Taijitu in the alcohol and tobacco business. If there are any companies or assets for sale in this sector of your local economy, we would be interested in entering into negotiations to purchase them. We are also looking to expand our distribution network. Distribution hubs come complete with a Mercantilist Smokes & Brews storefront and will lower local prices, an effect which has been experienced in cities currently with hubs.

We look forward to doing business with you.

We have land for sale in the East Davis Province of the Confederacy. The land borders the Potomac River and is very fertile. We will sell it to you at a price of $4000 per hectare.

We have land for sale in Theans. If you would like to come tour the grounds for sale, your welcome. Theans native population is experienced in "cash crops" including tobacco and consists of experienced farmers and farm hands. Many workers are economically tied to the land.

We'd love to have your business and your business is welcome to expand to all parts of the Duchy.

We are interested in purchasing up to 20 hectares of land in Theans. We request an estimate for the land and will be dispatching a team to survey it. Additionally, we are interested in establishing a distribution hub in Araganstantinople.

Thank you and we look forward to future business with your nation.

The cost of your land will be $3200000 Florins. You can send surveyors at anytime. I could help arrange for workers be hired to work the land if you wish, shall I send the cost of their wages?

I hope our nations will do business, we'd love to have your company work with our nation.

OOC:I Counted one hectares as being about 2 international acres. Florins are worth 1.84 American dollars.

We will transfer tallents equivalent to florins immediately and begin sending our surveyors. Your help in hiring workers will be much appreciated and their wages can be negotiated with the surveyors when they arrive.

Additionally, do we have a go ahead on establishing a distribution hub in Araganstantinople? This will have the effect of lowering the local cost of our products, and will serve as the primary storage and distribution point for all Aragan tobacco sold worldwide.

Excellent news. We'll have a representative of the workers meet with the surveyors when they arrive.

We would prefer if you set up your hub in Theanstanbul, regional capital of Theans. Araganstantinople is a fortress city, very historical and ancient. Generally the only people allowed to have offices there are nobles, but recently we have allowed Ambsassdors in the city. Theanstanbul is almost a secondary capital of Aragan and should be more useful for your business as it is more open and expansion is easier from there as it a traditional metropolis. If having a headquarters in the region of Aragan is what your after, you would be welcome to set a hub up in Aranqua, a port city in Aragan. We hope this won't be a problem. You can set up your hub at anytime.

Excellent. Based on your description, we believe Aranqua would be a prime location for a hub given the high volume of trade that is likely to occur. We look forward to future business ventures into your country; may this arrangement be a profitable one for both of us.

Sincerely,

Henry Adams
