"Of course we have artillery. We don't have much use for it in my country, so it's my fault I failed to mention it. Will a 6 inch gun suffice? I can order their delivery, along with a hundred Deuce and a half's and tractors to pull the artillery."

"You're going to also need oil and gasoline. This is something I am far less inclined to give away. It is a resource only truly common on our continent, and not only does it cost money to refine, but the shipping is quite high as well. We can renegotiate this fuel later, I'll supply you with enough to make sure you can buy it later!" Xipilli chuckled.

"Ah... Yes, we would like these cannons very much. But what are these Deuce and a half's you speak of? Are they large wagons? Horses perhaps? For we around here do not know anything more useful than a wagon to carry things. As for the oil, we have no need. Our lanterns are well fueled by whale blubber. But what is gasoline? And what is it for? You confuse me Xyraelite. Please do explain..."

Xipilli smiled. "Oil is a fuel for the duece and a half, tank, and airplane, among other things. Without oil these cannot run. A Deuce and a half is a.... "mechanical" wagon without horses capable of carrying two and a half tons of equipment. It does not tire like a horse, and can run for days straight. A tank is a large, often slow metallic 'wagon' with a cannon, it can not be harmed by average guns. And the airplane, well obviously you have heard of foreigners taking to the sky in such contraptions, these are those devices."

Truly I could tell this man oil is more precious than anything and he would believe me, Xipilli looked at the kind king, he's lucky he met me, and not another person more willing to accept profit.

"Oil is quite common where I come from. The only reason it's slightly expensive is shipping costs. If you're interested... I can arrange for many of these things to be brought to you so you can have a more hands-on understanding of them."

Sam looked around at the men in awe. Wagons that could carry two and a half tons? Talstadt was lucky if they could make a wagon that could carry a half ton. So many things.... Ideas cluttered Sam's head. Sam decided to let them all go... for the moment. "Yes, friend Xipilli. I am sure that if you showed us what these things are that you speak of, that we would understand you." 'But still... mechanical wagons?' The idea intrigued him.' "Do you... know how to make a mechanical wagon?"

It was the next month when Mars heard the news. The anarchists had reached the northern coast. This did not bode well for Talstadt. He knew that he had to recruit and retaliate fast in order to recover. But he also knew that he needed foreigners to help him. The Xyraelites had seemed helpful, but they had not heard from them since. True, their new designs were very helpful, but evidently they were also easy to steal. Two weeks after they went into action, anarchists were seen using the weapons.
Mars hoped and prayed for help for he knew well the power of numbers, which the anarchists nearly held. Now with these new machine guns, as the Xyraelite called them, the war might carry on indefinitly.
Then, an idea struck him. As he rushed out of the door, Mars told his guard, "The sky! The sky!"

Oh well. My thread has officially died. To continue what happened, Mars takes back over with Xyreal's help, the king returns from hiding, and Talstadt goes into a period of reconstruction.

Introduced to Talstadt: (over course of the "War")
U-Boot
Machingewirr (machine gun)
Repeating Rifle
Luftmachin (airplane)
Mortars
Eiergrenate (hand grenade)
Rudimentary Tank
