Strengthening The Border

The Engineer Brigade had been busy for the past three years. But this meant experience for most of the newer guys. They had helped in Terrazac and in the disputed territory, now they had recieved their newest mission: The continuation of the Border Defenses. Previously, 20,660Km of fenceline had been built, they were to add 54,780Km more of fencing to the Southern Borders.

The civilian contractor looked to the Engineer Colonel. "I expect that we could have this done within eight years time."
The colonel shook his head in agreeance. "I agree with you, lets get the ball rolling.." The heavy bulldozers, earth haulers, erectors, and all the workers began to work on the fence.

With the assistance of the Engineer Company from the 10th Special Troops Batallion, The contractors were quickly erecting the fence.

The long felt suspicion that the nation of whereamistan was attempting to go nuclear was recently confirmed. Several anonymous sources confirm that the tremors felt last week were indeed unground tests of the new Ayotolla Missile. Satellite imagery also shows what is believed to be fourteen nuclear silo bases around the country. The Air force has also announced the creation of a Air-to-air, and air-to-surface missile capable of holding nuclear tipped warheads.
