Famine, Plight, and Civil War.
« on: February 01, 2007, 03:36:50 PM »
TO: The Nations of the Taijitu region.
FROM: The Desk of Cardinal Zidane Le'Lara, Soveriegn Lord of High Evermore.
RE: Request for Intervention.

Nations of Taijitu:

After a twenty year pandemic in the late 1900's, and a brief civil war in the 1990's, our state has fallen into dissarray with the loss of nearly 40,000,000 of our citizens to strife. With our deserted cities, and faint population of about six million, we require defensive help. The Evermorian budjet has been going to administration in order to keep our beautiful country running, however, the few million dollars we have to spend on war will not be enough to protect us. We have a well-established police force, as well as a Special Operations team, and a standing army of 500,000 conscripts, but we have no protection on our borders. The army is still quelling attacks on some of our major cities, and terrorism from the Terran Liberation Front continue to cripple our infrastructure. This message is to request, hastily, some form of military aid until we can establish ourself... Our nation cries out upon the masses of Taijitu, and we pray to our Lord in hopes of your aid.

Thank you in advance for all of your caring.

Soverign Lord, Cardinal Zidane Le'Lara
Ecclesial Seat, Capital Square.

Zidane Le'Lara,

I offer you to join the United Imperium. The United Imperium is a superstate consisting of the nations of Ryazania and Myroria. Should you join, you will recieve aid and military protection from Myroria, and you will become an equal Consul, helping make the decisions that make the UI great from the capital.

My good man, the Lord Sovereign wishes to appologize that he is unable to leave his office to write you this telegram, but we are currently assesing a mortar attack by Terran Liberators on Denbourgh. As his International Relations vassal, I wish to inform you that enclosed in this letter is His Lord Majesties seal of acceptance. His Holyness hopes that the United Imperium will bring about completeness to our fine nation, and in return that the Theocratic state may shine light upon the Imperium and bring with it the best graces of Lord God on High.

Norman Van'Beck,

Very well. Tell your superior that before he is promoted to Consul, he will be Grand Chancellor of the Grand Council to test his loyalty and ability. May God be with you,

Peté Tar-Ilium.
