[Mercantilist States]

"Mr. Secretary," the Takasian concierge said as William Xavier arrived, "If you'll follow me I'll show you and your party to your rooms."

Oh right, it's Secretary now.

"Thank you."

Xavier's party consisted of his wife and two younger kids kids, his two Secret Service agents, his Chief-of-Staff George Baker and his wife, and Henry Adams, CEO of the Mercantilist Brewing Co., and Adam's wife and two kids. Adams and Xavier had served together when they did their compulsory service in the MDF nearly two decades ago and had kept in touch since.

"I love this country William," Adams said as he put his hand on Xavier's back. "Thanks for inviting me."

"You been here before?" Xaiver asked as they followed the concierge to their rooms in the castle.

"Yeah, after that dud farmland in the Chinese Loyalist State, I make it a point to personally inspect all prospective farmland now. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself."

"So What'd you get them?" Xavier asked.

"A special barrel of Old Mercantilism, aged 20 years."

"You sure they drink?"

"They're royalty," Adams said with a smile. "They're our best customers."

[The Kingdom of Tagirstan]

A doctor came running around the corner looking very panic stricken.  When he found Queen Lalya he all but shouted "where is princess Sophia and prince Amir?"  Queen Lalya coldly turned to him and asked "why is my families where abouts important to you?" reading his name tag "Dr. Peterson". Dr. Petterson took a deep breadth "there was another attempt on his majesty's life.  We were able to catch the poison in time but princeess Sophia and prince Amir could be in terrible danger."  Queen Lalya therw her hands to her mouth and uttered "Oh God."  Regaining her regal composure she then informed Dr. Peterson that "prince Amir is with his friend Yazid al-Sarudi in Tistanpul.  Princess Sophia is walking with Prince Lex Delfos as we speak."  "She could be in serious danger right now your highness"

Sophia:  "Why are you so nice to me?  All guys just want a chance to shack up with royalty."
Delfos:  He was taken back by what she said " I assure you that was the farthest thing from my mind.  I am genuinely concerned for you" 
Sophia:  She saw that he was genuinely hurt.  "I am truly sorry I am having a terrible day.  This is my father's fourth collapse since Friday.  Now he has confirmed that 8 days I will rule Tagirstan."
Delfos:  Accepting her apology "This must be a very troubling time for you indeed.  I would bite somebody's head off too."  He gave her his most dazzling smile.
Sophia: "My God" she whispered softly.  What gorgeous teeth he has.   She shook her head and immeditely stalked off. "Damnit" she swore
Delfos: "Did I do something wrong?"
Before she could reply Dr. Petterson came running around towards them.  A Tagirstani guard stopped him and Sophia and Delfos watched them whispering softly.  The guard looked pale after talking with the doctor then motioned him to continue.
Dr Peterson: "Sophia there was another assassination attempt on Tarih's life.  He is alive we got antidotes in him in time."
 She fainted and was just barely caught by Delphos.  Delphos carried her back to the hospital.  Halfway back she woke up in his strong arms and laid there aginst his strong chest for a few minutes.  When she realized what she was doing she started squirming and screaming causing several Tagirstani guards to finger there weapons.
Sophia: she screamed "let me down now damnit!"  she thought great I am supposed to marry prince Ivan and now I find myself falling in love with Delfos.  Just bloody great.

I will arrange for my daughter to meet your sister.  Of course with situations in tagshknet currently detoriating she will be accompined by guards.  I hope this is acceptable with both you and Elis.

OOC:  I would appreciate it if Princess Sophia was not killed she can be shot stabbed or whatever.  The other members of the royal family are fair game as is Grand Vizier Noor al-Farouk.  He is the equivalent of a prime minister.

"Okay, your brother called me back," Mai Fa said as she walks into Elis's bedroom.

"And?" Elis was polishing her pistols, yet again.

"We got a spot for you with the princess...why are you always cleaning those things???"

"A clean weapon is a working weapon." She proceeds to load a clip. Mai Fa looks at her and frown.

"I need to get you into some girl stuff..."

"Don't." She got up and strip off her shirt. "Get out, I'm changing."

"Try to be alittle less cold towards the princess..." Mai Fai head for the door. "I also advise that you leave your guns behind."

"Find me a pen then."

[Delfos]

Delfos: "Calm down, or you will get me shot by our guards." *What is she thinking, and to think i was worried with myself...* "What do you feel doing? Walk a bit more or go for a rest? I think your should rest your head and straight your ideas a little bit."

OOC:play a bit with my char :p i like it. Don't forget he's few years older than her, and he's President of the New Delfos Supreme Council, same thing as President of New Delfos.

In all the confusion that is happening I forgot to set a time and place.  How about the King Darfun Hospital.  There are several private rooms in which your sister and Sophia could meet.  Would 5:00pm be acceptable?

When Lex Delfos let Sophia down she looked up at him she was only around 5'3 and said "you think I should rest?  Well then I am going to continue walking"  Delfos just sighed wondering what her problem was now he said "if you think you can make it back to the hospital then we will continue."  After a couple of minutes of silence Sophia looked back up at Delfos and said "I am truly sorry.  You are a very nice guy who was being nice and I took all my frustration out on you."  Delfos just smiled again.  "It is okay running a country can be rather stressfull."

My father's treatment of noble Irnotia is a shame to all Tagirstan.  I humbly approach you so that I may try to make amends for my father's wrong.  With my upcoming coronation a breath of fresh air will be brought to Tagirstani goverment after 33 years under my father.  It is my sincerest hope that our ties with Irnotia  can be mended.  The bravery of Irnotian legionaries is already a legend in Tagirstan.  My father fought religious zealots but in doing so became one as well.  Since I am a religious minority in Tagirstan I find such treatment of noble Irnotia disgusting.

It would be fine, I thank you for letting Elis see the princess. I'm sure she would be quite pleased.

"You ready?" Outside the embassy, a black sedan was waiting on the driveway.

Elis steps out from the entrance, dress in a white leather vest and a hazel skirt.

"The driver you requested is waiting, and heres a 0.5 mm." Mai Fa hands her a stainless steel micro pen. Elis takes it and sticks in her vest under-pocket. She then proceeds to get into the sedan.

Upon getting in, the driver, a young Chinese male with green eyes greeted her. "Good to see you Commander," he said.

"Likewise, how was the trip from Badana?"

"First time on a plane...what else can you expect?...did you just ask me how was MY trip?"

"Shut it Jade, I'm trying to be a sociable little sister of the Chancellor."

"Sorry mam...it was kind of weird...not what I expect from you."

"Part of the job requirement...and I'll expect you to follow yours."

"Cover your back and don't speak, I'm an anonymous driver for Elis Xie...it's hot glued into my head."

"Good. Start driving I got a appointment at 5:00."

The sedan speeds off into the road.

[Delfos]

There was a noise behind sedan car, followed by a man's voice in a speaker: "Please stop, this is a routine check."

The car drove to an open space, the occupants were ready to shoot if necessary. They realised it was a foreign APC: "Please holster your weapons. Will you cooperate?" Men jump off the APC, they kept themselves behind the APC while it slowly moved towards the car.

Delfos: "There's no problem, this are kind of vacation for me, except I'm with military forces around me. I like being here. Let me take you back then. And sending telegrams to Nero isn't a good idea, i doubt he will read it, but anyway, it's a nice way to solve things.", "Keep dreaming..." He whispered.

Princess Sophia and Defos walked back to the hospital.  They exchanged some small talk mostly about their nations.  When they reached the hospital Queen Lalya was in an uproar.  "Where were you two?  Sophia you have a meeting with Elis the sister to the chancellor in 45 minutes.  By Allah look what you are wearing?"  Princess Sophia just rolled her eyes.  "I am sure I can make myself presentable."  It was Lalya's turn to roll her eyes "I am sure you can."  Her voice was dripping with sarcasm.  30 minutes later a servant returned with a black knee length skirt a white blouse a some black high heels.  Princess Sopjia gagged when she saw what she was to wear.  Delfos chuckled softly.  He said "it is not too bad."

Upon presenting her papers and a copy of the Queen's invite, the guards allowed Elis to pecieve to the floor where the princess was waiting. In her hands was a lotus flower freshly cut from the embassy's garden.

"Here we go...." she thought.



Behind her, guards were keeping a careful eye on her from a distance. She knocks on the door.

"Come in," said a voice behind it.

Elis forced her lips to form a crude smile. She opens the door and walks in. Inside, a neatly dressed girl was sitting on a leather sofa. The princess...

"Princess Sophia?"

The princess nodded. Time for her to get into character...

"Oh my... I been waiting so long to see you!!!" She paces towards the sofa, closing the door behind her, while giggling.

"My name is Elis, Elis Xie! I can't believe I finally get to meet a real princess..you are SO COOL!" She takes a seat right next to Sophia, inside her mind she felt like throwing up.

"Yeah....hi...." the princess replied.

"We should totally hang out from now on, this is my first time out of my country...it's so boring in Loyalist. So, how's it feel to be getting...married!!! I'm so happy for you, you must be so...like....EXCITED!!!" Elis pauses to take a breath, all this acting was gruelling. "OH! I forgot, here's a lotus I got for your dad, I hope he'll like it, I chose it myself!!!" That was a lie, it was Mai Fa idea and choice.

Prince Delfos was on the way out when Elis came in, Elis barely noticed Delfos. He kept looking at the girl's euphoric speech with Sofia, very surprised, he didn't want to interrupt and made a sign to Sofia that he was leaving and she nodded. When Elis looked at where Princess Sofia was nodding at she saw a foreign person trying to reach out without making any noise.

OOC: here, you can either call him and get him in the chat or just let him go and ask Sofia who that man was, lol.

Elis looks back at Sophia.

"Ah, should you really be hanging out with another man?"

"Oh, that's just Prince Delfos...he's quite a nice guy."

"Uh huh, I'm sure..."

"Huh?"

"Nothing, haha. Hey so where you go shopping usually? My brother gave me like 20 000 yao to blow. I want some new clothes!"

"You want to go shopping?"

"Uh, not now...maybe after the wedding?"

"Sure...Elis, umm can I ask you a question?"

"Okay"

"Are arrange to marry someone, that you never met before...?"

"Umm, no...my brother doesn't really mess with my love life...there's not alot of arranged marriages in DCL."

This must be the sort of "girl talk" her cousin was talking about.

"Everyone has a choice on who they married.... I heard some guy in Mei married his cow, can you believe that???"

"What? Thats creepy..."

"Well, a least Prince Tak isn't a cow, I'm sure he's a great guy if you get to know him."

"I guess...Elis, do you have someone you truly love?"

"Umm...no, I don't have any boyfriends, I'm more into...physical fitness. I'm usually at the gym, no time for guys!"

"Is that so? You look pretty healthy, do you do pilates?"

"What's pilates?"

"giggles. Forget I asked...let's go give this flower to my dad...he's not awake though."

"Is he okay?"

"Someone try to...poison him."

"Oh..."

So there is something bad going on...his brother would not like this.
