OOC: what the hell happened? i don't even know if we can retrieve the corpse or whatever happened with the assassin's body.

The President and his family had sat through the ceremony, and the sudden assassination attempt led to the President's ducking, the guards immediately moving to cover, and one of his wives jumping into action quickly.  A Stunner was pulled out and fired, but it didn't hit before she began to melt into nothingness.

[Khem]

OOC: a capsule of highly volotile acid which eats away any and all organic material it comes across. the corpse is pretty much gone anywhere withing two inches of the digestive tract.

[Delfos]

NDRA SF Officer: "Secure the perimeter, check for deadly substances around the assassin's body and get the forensics team."

The team moved along, secured the wicked deformed body and all entrances.

Officer: "Black Tent?, reporting events: assassination attempt, the assassin is neutralized but we need forensics, some kind of suicidal substance killed and deformed the assassin. We secured the perimeter, we're waiting for orders"

Command Center: "Right...lead everyone out, we're sending transports. Secure the guests and the body, do not let anyone come close."

Officer: "Wilco"

The officer ordered the rest of the team to lead everyone out as planned, the personal guards were informed of the plan.

Command Center: "Attention all units, we're sending transports for the chapel for the extraction of every man and guard. Forensics report in the chapel for instructions. All transport teams report outside the chapel, the rest stay put and wait for new instructions." -- Changing links on the VCS -- "President Delfos? Could you reach the King or the Queen of Tagirstan and request in the name of the Command Center that the rest of the wedding is either canceled or moved to another place?"

Delfos: "Sure, good work by the way."

Command Center: "We thank you, out."

Delfos: "Queen Lalya? Your daughter looks lovely with that dress, congratulations. Anyway, our Command Center requests that the rest of the wedding should be either canceled or done elsewhere. What do you think, your highness?"

King Takas I had to get the chaos back in order. He decided to get the guests attention away from the assassination attempt. After signalling Prince Ivan, he asked the Takasian guards to start to music. The newly-wed started dancing like professionals. The King, on the other hand, invited Queen Lalya for a dance, intentionally interrupting Prince Delfos of the conversation.

[Union]

OCC: Sorry about the delay, but I had a huge project to finish.

"Shit," Elis exclaimed.

"What happen?" Jade asked, his head turning away from the traffic jam in front of them.

"The Night Lords attacked the wedding 15 minutes ago." Elis flip off her Solo.

"And we're 30 minutes late....great..." Jade sarcastically replied.

"Who knew...that everyone from the countryside would be going down to the city today...?"

"We should had built the embassy a bit closer, don't you think?," Jade said, as he veers into a empty spot on the right lane. 

Elis frown, it was a time for joking around. The princess was attacked, and she wasn't there. "How far are we from the chapel?" Elis asked.

"Two miles, give or take."

"Just two?"

"Two miles of bottleneck cars..."

"Good, I'm getting out."

"...what?"

Elis opened the right side door and slided out. "I'll see you later."

"Where you going?!?"

Without another word, she slam the door and ran off in the direction of the wedding chapel. Jade watched her disappear into the distance.

At this rate, she was better off running the two miles than waiting for the traffic to inch through. Surprised city dwellers eyed her as she ran through the crowd. It was not everyday you saw a morning jogger in her formal gown.

At her current speed, she should be at the chapel in 17 minutes.

[Delfos]

Alot of apparel was in the Chapel's Entrance. Even helicopters. As soon Elis entered the Chapel she crashed into Delfos who didn't even see her.

Delfos: "Hey, you. Come here."

Elis tried to dodge him. Delfos grabbed her arm and pulled her to his presence. She didn't react as she was supposed in similar events, she was very surprised.

Delfos: "Dance with me, we have to talk about Sofia."

[Union]

Elis use her free hand, and punched Delfos hard in the face, before doing a neck brace. All her movements were split second and smooth, the sign of years of practice.

"You grab me again, and I'll break you neck.." She released the startled prince.

"Holy..."

Elis takes out a squeeze mini-bottle of aseptic gel. She rubs it on the spot Delfos grabbed her.

"What you want?" 

[Delfos]

"can I have a bit of that gel? and nice punch. We need some info about the Night Lords, and all those secrets. Our Command Center would like you and your team to join forces and to discover everything about the Night Lords so there can be a quick sweep on their ranks."

[Union]

Elis ignores his request and puts away the gel bottle. "I don't know shit, all I know is that they're trying to kill Sophia...where is she?"

Delfos nods his head towards the end of the room, where Sophia and the supposing groom were seated. They were both looking away from each other, a mutual silence. Dozens of guards and SF personnel surrounded them. On the top balcony, she sighted sniper guards watching every corner of the chapel.

"They sure look happy..." Elis murmurs.

Delfos frowns at her statement. "I'll get you through security."

Delfos leads her through the crowd, drawing attention from the other guests. Elis realize why, her face was cover with sweat from the running, and blemish of dirt dotted her gown.

Delfos massages his cheek where Elis punch him. "This is Elis Xie, the sister of the Chancellor of the Chinese Loyalist State. I'm clearing her for access to the bride," he directs to the guard commander.

"Does she have any weapons on her, Sir?" the commander asks.

"No," Elis replies. "And if you're gonna search me, I prefer a female officer..."

"There would be no need for that...let us through with ya?" Delfos interjects.

Reluctantly, the commander let them through the security wall, and radioing in his subordinates to do the same.

They approach the couple, and Sophia quickly caught sight of them. 

[Delfos]

Delfos: "Hello Princess Sofia and Prince Ivan, congratulations for the wedding."

[Union]

The groom turn around.

"Elis! I thought you weren't coming."

"Traffic, well I'm here now. Who's your lucky new husband?"

Elis extend her gloved hand to prince Ivan. "Pleasure to meet you Prince Ivan." There was pause, then Prince Ivan took and shook her hand.

"Pleasure is all mine," he replied.

"I'm sorry I miss your vows, it must had been...captivating."

"You didn't miss much, it was quite uneventful."

Delfos cast a sour look at Ivan. Elis sensed the tension, and she turn around to Delfos.

"Get some chairs for us would you Prince Delfos?"

"Chairs? Oh, right..." Delfos walk off towards a servant. "Check the bottom for bombs!" Elis yell at him.

Delfos and some nearby guest turn to stare at her.

"It was a joke!" Elis turns back to Sophia.

[Delfos]

ooc: there is no tension between Delfos and Ivan :p Delfos knows he's gay, plus Delfos wants to please the Queen..so...but yeah ok.

Prince Delfos fetched chairs himself, actually having a quick look under the chairs.

Prince Delfos: "Now..where were we? ah! lovely wedding. you must tell Elis about the black bitch, sorry about my language."

[Union]

The three talked among themselves for half an hour, while Prince Ivan wasn't particular talkative. He simply nodded at questions that Elis directed at him. Ivan kept quiet and still for most of the conversation.

Suddenly behind them, the sound of scuffling and shouting was heard. Ivan turn to see, a young man of athletic build arguing with the guard commander.

"I am a servant of Ms. Xie, you will let me through to attend her," the man said. The guard refuse to let him through.

"Look, she's right there, tell her I'm here..."

Prince Ivan got out of his seat to get a closer look. The man had stunning green eyes, that off nephrite jewels, and he was so handsome and rugged too, he thought.

The man turn his head and caught Ivan spying at him. Their eyes met, and Ivan fell into a dream spell...

"What the....?" Jade thought to himself. One of the young man with Elis was staring at him, what was wrong with him? Jade felt instantly uncomfortable.

Just in time, Elis saw him and shouted out, "Hey, your finally here! what took you so long?" She smile at him.

"Oh god...is she smiling?" Jade thought. Elis's acting was too much to take in. The strange man continue to stare at him, still as a statue.

"Let me through." Jade push his way through, and the guard commander had no choice but to let him. He signaled his subordinates. "Its okay, he's with them."

"You finally made it!" Elis said. Jade bowed down and replied, "Sorry my lady, I had trouble finding a parking space."

"Who is this Miss Xie?" Prince Ivan interrupted. Jade turn to see the strange man who was staring at him.

"Ah, this is Pio, my driver and butler," Elis answered. "Pio, this is Prince Ivan of Takasia."

Prince Ivan force his hands into Jade's. "A pleasure to meet you Pio, please come sit down with us."

Ivan took an extra chair from the side and place it beside his. He guided Jade into the chair (with rather too much touching) and sat down himself. Jade was taken back by the intimacy, and couldn't help thinking that Prince Ivan  liked him...alot.

"Thank you...Prince Ivan."

"Not a problem, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?"

They all sat down and resume their conversation. Prince Ivan was particular "interested" with Pio the driver/butler. Jade set uneasy in his seat...as the Ivan began to lean closer...and closer...and closer...

[The Kingdom of Tagirstan]

Sophia watched as her husband escorted Pio to his chair.  She though he did not even get me a chair. 

As Ivan listened to Pio with great intrest Sophia motioned for Delfos to follow her. 

Sophia turned to Elis "would you excuse us for a moment?"  She turned to stair at Ivan "I don't think he will notice I am gone."

As Delfos and Sophia walked a way from the group Sophia slid her hand into Delfos's hand.

She Turned to Delfos  "I think Ivan might not like me.  I think he might be gay.  My cousin Bayezid swore he slept with him but Bayezid also claims to have slept with Elis's broter as well."

Delfos looked uncomfortable for a second he was trying to figure out if he should tel her or not.
