Phelimar

Phelimar's Society is simple was, above all, militaristic. The Societies emphasis on military fitness begins virtually at birth. Shortly after birth, the mother of a child is baths it in wine to see whether the child was strong. If the child survived it was brought before the elders of the area by the child's father. The elders then decided whether it was to be kept or not. If found defective or weak, the baby is left on the wild slopes of Mt. Costo to die. Phelimarian boys leave home for military boarding school at the age of 7 and are required to serve in the army until age thirty. Then they pass into the active reserve, where they remained until the age of sixty. Phelimarian education from the ages of seven to thirty emphasize physical toughness , steadfastness in military ranks, and absolute obedience to orders. The ordinary Phelimarian is a citizen-warrior, or hoplite, trained to obey and endure; he becomes a politician only if chosen to for a single year at a time. He can be elected a life member of the council after his sixtieth year, in which he would be free from military service. Men are encouraged to marry at the age of twenty but can not live with their families until they leave their active military service at age thirty. The Phelimarans perfect the craft of hoplite warfare. They call themselves equals, pointing to their common lifestyle and the discipline of the phalanx, which demands that no soldier be superior to his comrades. The leaders of Phelimar is King Leonidas and the council rule with absolute control although the council votes on issues King Leonidas truly rules Phelimar.

Phelimar holds the great honor of being the first people to Start the revolution that brought an end to the vast Irnotian Empire. Soon after they forced them out of their lands other people who had long been subjugated by the Irnotians began to revolt. Soon the Phelimarian Warrior lead a campaign to end the Three tribes of the Irnotian empire and all their civilization. Then When the Irnotians had been pushed back to the first lands of the three Tribes, the United Armies of the surprised lead by the great King of Phelimar Arionitis, Lead the charge to bring about the destruction of all that remains of the Irnotians.

On one side the endless armies of the Rebellion, the other lead by the New Emperor Augustus of Irnotia and the last remaining Legion of Irnotia. The battle started soon, the Phelimarian Alliance was about to claim victory when Arionitis was slain. To this day no one knows who it was that killed him. All is known that when the great King Fell, the alliance broke. Soon the people left the field of battle and history continued, Phelimar never again came so close to Destroying Irnotia.

This wasn't to say that they didn't try again. Since that day the two nations have Gone to war many times, the battles showed the difference in the abilities of both nations. The Irnotian legions leading a war of a great nation, armies marching and conquest, the Phelimarians leading small elite strike forces into the heart of the Legions. These wars has kept Phelimar from ever getting the glory that it deserved as a naiton of such history.

The New King of Phelimar now leads his people, their nations looking on the shore of greatness, will they come to the power that is destined to them, or will they keep just surviving with the constant wars with Irnotia.
All know what is right the thing to do but only Phelimar dose it. Victory is the only option.

The last of the wars to be fought between the great and glorious people of Phelimar and the vile beasts that are Irnotia ended 8 years ago. These two people have gone to war nearly every 15 years for over a millennium. The constant attacks and decimations to the great lands of Phelimar have kept it from becoming what it could be. The last was no exception. Irnotian forces claiming that Phelimarian forces had assassinated a Senator had invaded with out pause.

Their forces had decimated the lands, their bombs striking everything they could get their vile hands on. The people of Phelimar cried out for vengeance against these vile crimes, and so it was granted.

The Immortal Imperium and his wife were tracked, their plane was found to be flying back to Roma from a vacation home. They the lords of the flies basked as Phelimar burned. The Immortals(ooc shut up, i know its the wrong nation), while officially not in existence responded to these cries.

When their flight passed over their vast lavish estates, Immortal Strike forces destroyed it with a stinger. Their lands, their family, their vile followers, all those who held them as dear saw the blast. No one survived the glories strike against the vile beasts. The Immortal Imperium and his wife were dead before the fireball dissipated. Soon a Cease fire was signed between the Glorious state of Phelimar and the Vile Black Empire of Irnotia.

So how ended the last Spartic war. This did not bring an end to the hate and suffering the great people of Phelimar had at the hands of the vile beasts of Irnotia.
