The Imperial Weddings of the Issue of Christstan!

Both the Prince and the Princess are to be married in a long, drawn out, formal wedding. The Weddings shall be back to back, first with the wedding of the Prince to the Quebecois Princess.

The Marriages are to take places in the Summer Palace of Hoffenburg Manor in a closed wedding open only to Nobility and high ranking officials of the various nations. However, a great many people have been allowed to watch from outside the palace and the procession shall take a very long road to get to the palace. The wedding is to be televised for all of the world to see.

The Imperial Family of Canada will arrive. Jordan, the Crown Prince's new bride, will be arriving with her brother, her sister-in-law and her niece. We hope this will be a grand wedding that will be remembered for a long time and may this bring our two people closer together as brothers.

A beautiful occasion. I will surely come for many reasons, which of are obvious. Good relations, celebration, and a chance for me to get away from some business. Anyway, I hope to meet you all. Unfortunately I have no wife, and my other relatives are dead, so I will be coming myself save for my general and by three personal bodyguards. All of them are nobles from my home country.

Kaiser Paul, Kaiserin Selene, Queen Jordan, and Princess Hoshi arrived at the Summer Palace. Paul liked to come to Christstan. It also amazed him with it's art, music and culture. Selene was pushing the princess in a stroller. This would be the first time the Christstan Imperial Family would see the next heir to the Canadian and Quebecois thrones. Jordan was exicted. Ever since the party in Christstan, she had been talking to the Crown Prince everyday. They were escorted to the Palace by twenty guards (ten Canadians in red and ten Quebecois in light blue). All were armed with old SKS rifles and sabers. As they walked up the stairs, Paul could see the Emperor and Empress of Christstan waiting fo them. The Canadian royals went up and greeted their new relatives. Paul shook Hiendrick's hand. "It's good to see you again, old friend. How are you?" Selene and the Empress smiled at Hoshi and talked about the baby.

King Siath Kozai was walking near the bride and groom with two guards at his side and two others lugging a large chest. They quickly neared them and slid the chest up to them. The chest was elegant lined with faint silver and decoratively carved. Siath opened up the chest with a beautifully crafted key, gold in color with a small ruby at the center. Inside glittered gems, gold, and anything a pirate would want in the form of decorative coins, jewelry, and trinkets.

"Hope you enjoy, the finest crafted just for this occasion... and if you look carefully... you may find hidden messages in the forms of pictures, letters, words, or shape in almost anything in here. For example..." he looked and picked up a a ring from the top and held it up to them. "See this... looks like an ordinary ring just... a little strange shape actually. You'll see its both of you holding this gem which is in the shape of a heart. It means that... you love each other and will hold on to it forever." Kozai smiled and carefully put the ring back in and shut the chest. "Theres clothes, lockets, and other things for you to." he said to the soon-to-be king.

The Envoys were greeted cordially and gleefully. The Crown Prince was excited to see his bride, the one who would produce the heirs to the Throne of Christstan and his Father's Dynasty. Obviously his sister was excited waiting on her husband-to-be to arrive as well although it was getting late and near the start of the procession. "Yes, It is a pleasure my friend. Congratulations on your daughter, may God bless you with many more." This was the Emperor's response but his wife was much more interested with the child and talked with the Kaiserin about her.

Also this King Kozai was also greeted warmly, and was escorted/guarded by 10 Imperial Guardsmen. The palace was lined with them. so far no attempts had been made on any Imperial lives, but the Emperor would not give anyone any chances. "I thank you, I am sure Jordan appreciates the gifts as well." This from the Prince.

They waited for the Myorian ambassadors.

OOC: I should probably post, huh? :P

Meneldur got out of the driver's seat of his limosuine. Like his mother, he never used a driver. He preferred to be behind the wheel. He entered the palace and saw his new bride.

"My lady." he said, kissing her hand before returning standing back up from his kneel.
"I assure you -- I will be quite content to be a mere mortal again, dedicated to my own amusements."

Yes, any representative from your nation may come.

-------------------------------------------

The Wedding procession went through as planned, those being married on display, Mounted Imperial Guards rode next to the convoy, dressed in highly formal regalia, they were still armed to the teeth. It was quite a display as the general fanfare was great. Flower petals were being tossed from rooftops.

Once they had reached the palace where the actual ceremony would commence, the parties were lead to a garden in the back where an arch had been set up following the Christany tradition. Their, a Minister of Christany Christianity gave the rites to both weddings, which took several hours. In the end, it was nearing mid-day and everyone was allowed in side for an after wedding party until they needed to leave. The couples would spend the night in the palace to "Finalize" their vows.

Emperor Paul danced with his sister for a while. After he finsihed dancing, the young emperor walked over to Emperor Hiendrick. "Well, looks like we are more then comrades and allies, now we are brothers." He looked over to his sister and new brother-in-law. He turned back to the Christstan emperor. "I forsee many years of love and prosperity between those two. I'm sue Jordan will love it here as much as I do."

The Emperor smiled, he greatly enjoyed the Canadian Kaiser. Their two empires formed a powerful alliance. Now his descendants would have claim to both empires, or so he was told. Christstany Succession laws frowned upon a female-line succession, and would only do so if every other line had been eliminated. "Yes, there will be many years of love and prosperity, my friend. Hopefully fertility follows as strong as their love." The Emperor would not be subtle about this, he wanted a grandson that would inherit his son's domain. If his son did not produce any heirs soon, the nobles might get a bit uppity.

"Well, now the closest person to my throne besides my daughter is your son. Not even the Inglish Imperial Family that we are descended from can come close. I wish many years of happiness for your people and mine in light of this wedding."
