"High Marshal Jian, you ahve lead your men extremly well. You are leading your men by foot for a long while. I ask that since we are already on the same roads, perhaps we all can continue on together. The trucks can take my infantry straight through so they can get to the training areas before you, but I will lead the cavalry here so we can discuss matters. What do you say?"

General Richards nodded and turned to his adjutant. "Brigadier General Williams, take the trucks ahead of the cavalry and get to the training grounds. The cavalry will stay behind and get to the training grounds with the Loyanese. I will lead the cavalry and ride with High Marshal Jian. Understood?"

General Williams nodded. "Yes, sir."

The Loyanese moved off the road and let the trucks go through and head to the training grounds. Williams jumped on a horse and offered one to High Marshal Jian, which he took. As they both rode, they discussed matters such as thier families, where they lived, and what they have seen. The Canadian horsemen did the same with the the Loyanese footmen. The two people whose nations had been friends for years enjoyed each other's company. Richards even handed Jian a cigar from the Confederate States. He took it and they both smoked.

"General there is something I need to discuss with you. I know it's not my place to ask in place of my ambassador, but my army is in a deep need of a seasonal cold climate area to train our troops. As a tropical country, my men aren't use to fighting in the cold, especially not when we go down to White Moth. I was wondering, can you pass a request to your government, seeing if they can lend out a training area for us during the fall or winter?"

"My government will have no problem getting you a training area. Right now, though my country's nothern regions have snow while the southern regions are sill going through fall. Also, if you wish you may attach observers to Canadian companies and they can learn how to fight in winter conditions."

"I am a member of the General Staff. When I return to Canada, I will ask them for a permanent base, but if not, I am sure you can share one with mountain divisions. But right now, that is a desicions for the entire General Staff, the Lord Protector and the Emperor."

Captain Ramahejad took a cigarette from his favorite brand, Myrorian Marlboar. The Jeep stopped near the train exit where the terrangarians were, he had to lay his cig down, walked out of the Jeep and climbed the wooden platform.
"Hello there. I'm Ramahejad, your Peace Keeping field instructor. You all came equipped, that's good. Leave everything else but your weapons and personal supplies and get ready for the first exercise."

The terrangarians dropped their stuff in the ground and listened carefully.

"You have to run north around the forest, there's a red flag in the ground, get it for me, I will follow you guys with jeep. I will debrief you guys on the way, first of all, you are not allowed to fire a single shot in New Delfos, only if you are shot at by enemy forces, so always identify the targets, and if they are aggressors, go there and arrest him."

"That doesn't make any sense."

"It will. Tell your men to start moving."

Captain Sokal turned towards his men. "You heard the Captain. Execute his order. Weapons lock, load, secure."
The men followed his orders without a word.
"Move out. Form a 4 man line, keep an eye out for possible ambush sites, now move it"
The men started to run at quite a speed. It was much colder here than back home in their humid and hot jungles.
This would keep them warm

So this is the first step of learning to know how our armies work. :D

As the first training week progresses, half of the Loyanese troops bunk up with the Canadian forces. The other half got camped out with the Collosean troops, who were about to get some hardcore whipping.

Day 12 of Operation

“I am Lieutenant Ain Wilshan of the Loyanese Ground Forces and a volunteer in the Loyanese Peackeepers. As par a favour requested by the Collosean government, I will be training you boys for the remainder of this operation. I am a no bullshit commander when it comes to training, so there will be no whining, ass-kissing, or childish bullshit while I am here!

In the army, a least mine, joining the army is not a privilege or responsibility, but a right. Now until you earn that right to fight and defend the ideas you were hired to defend,… your nothing but a civilian who’s been given a gun. I want you guys to take that to heart! At the end of this, I guarantee, 100 percent, that all of you will EARN this right to become a soldier, or Heaven strike me down!

Alright, now that I got my pep talk out of the way, time for an early birthday present for all of you. This here is the Armour Combat Vest Mark 8, fifteen pounds of ultra high density polymer, Kevlar, and titanium alloy plating design to stop multiply assault rifle rounds at fifteen yards off. It’s heavy as crap for the common men, but we’re gonna train you guys to lug this vest around with you, and in time, you will get use to it and wear it around like a second ball sac…Once you get yours, you will be require to wear it 24/7, during training, meals, and sleeping, The only time you will be allow to take this off is when you shower off that swear and grim from ten hours of no bullshit training with me! And to show that there’s no hard feeling, me and my own unit will be subjected to the same training regime, but with an additional ten pound polymer plate.

And to make us a bit more closer, you will be training and living with my own boys, get to know each other and learn to become comrades of a strong and vigilant international army. Later on, your unit and my will be serving together as well in White Moth, where the main operation will take place two months from now.

Now! I want everyone to separate into groups of five, each group will be assigned to my drillmasters for training with the disposable RPG-27 rocket tube. Move it!”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ooc: I’m leaving it here for now, assuming that our guys are training in the proper peacekeeping tactics. Remember, when we are in White Moth, we are only to engage when engaged, no disruption of civilians allow, and we are not allow to enter Dirty A-Hole for any reason!

A combined Canadian/Loyanese company was given to Captain David Ross. David had been given a captain's commision because one of the captains and one of his lieutenants hurt themselves in an exercise. He stood in front of his new command. The Canadians and Loyanese were evenly organized into platoons lead by Loyanese and Canadian officers. They stood waiting for their new captain start.

"Gentlemen and ladies, I am Captain David Ross of the Imperial Canadian Army. I have mixed the platoons for a reason. One is the language gap and second, because we need to learn to work together. So every morning after breakfast, you will assemble in front of this building. I will be teaching you how to do cavalry and mounted infantry tactics. In some cases, you have to stop troops who are attacking peacekeepers or threatening them. Cavalry gives you two things. One is speed, the other is intimidation. You will assemble and I will show you first the tactics and how to care for a horse. Later I will show you how to ride and how to intimate someone without killing. but right now, I want each of you to pick someone not from your country and that person will be your buddy. That person will be your bunkmate and will be rewarded or punsihed depending on your behavior. you must learn to work as a team. Now in cavalry tactics, there are two kinds. One is camel cavlry, and the other is horse cavalry. These can further be broken down into mounted infantry or dragoons, lancers and hussars. I will be teaching you dragoon tactics on horses. In my country, we have camel mounted units but they are usually given to the mountain divisions. So let us begin......

"1st Platoon, what are you doing! Keep with the line, don't break the line!" Ross was tired of teaching some of these amatuers. While most nations had considered horse cavalry obslete, the General Staff had brought back some of the cavalry units, because as Rommel had said "There are no probablilites in war. We have to be prepared for anything and be prepared with everything." Ross sheathed his saber and halted the company. "Alright First Platoon, listen to me carefully. A cavalry company moves together as a team, as a single unit. As a cavalry unit, when I say make a line and hold that line, you hold that line. Now anybody, what happens when the line breaks too early? Anyone?"

A Loyanese soldier put up his hand. "If we break too early, we lose this intimidation."

"Thank you, yes. We can't break too early. Now you see those dummies. I want us to charge it again and break a few feet before we hit. then you surround the group of people. Now sheath your sabers and we will do this again." As the horsemen turned their horses away to do it again, Ross thought to himself. They're good, they just need to learn a bit faster.

The transport ships pulled into the harbor and took so many spots that they had their own private spot. These ships bore the flag of the IPO, but were all from Halifax. The peacekeepers were needed in the place that was about to erupt. If they got there on time, then they might be able to settle peace. If not the White Moth might not be saved.

Two old and long trains with big wagons arrived Plorisk, from inside came a big number of high ranked Delfian officials, along with some from the countries involved in Winter Shield.

Thousands after thousands of peace keeping units were filled the whole Plorisk complex, practically built by all the IPOP.
"We are gathered here to finish your training course for Peace Keepers. As Delfian officer i begin to thank you for the great job with the complex, New Delfos is proud of you. And I must say you all done a fantastic job in this training. I suppose you are all very well instructed about the job you were tasked to do. You are peace keepers, and you are not there only for peace, for that we would only need hippies! You represent IPO, and most of all, you represent your motherland and the principles we all defend. You are the tool for the world peace! Without you the hippies can't stand a chance!
Alright, enough with the hippies. As little of you know, you are already assigned for your first mission, your role of purpose will start as soon we officially graduate you all. And for debriefing, only your superiors will be able to do. I ask now the Loyan representative officer to stand here and issue your uniforms and helmets. And good luck to you all."

* Comparing to when they came, all units were very quiet and standing still, they were all very proud, and they were very happy that finally the 'torture' was over. The Loyan officer greeted the Delfian one with a smile and a strong handshake and stepped up the platform...*
