**Exercise Valiant Eagle**
The scenery was set as the planes crossed the skies. Word was that the Delfian Airborne Assault Division were already in the air and the "Precs" were assisting from up the hill. As the Valideen paratroopers landed their objectives were clear, get to the paintball weapons and prepare to defend the structures from the Delfian paratroopers.
**Exercise Valiant Guardian**
The forces were ordered the GO for landing. With the Early-Warning support they spotted the best place to land, most of the landing crafts headed there, while others had strategic points.
"Get those Yuri out of here!" Ordered the Commander to the beach assaulting squads in
Jurmo crafts.
"Alright, let's move." - said Master Sergeant Brevinic to his men. The environment was fine, cloudy skies, a bit cold, but it was fine, at his right he could see the other squads rushing to the main disembark point. His task was another, to rush for the hills northwards the main point to support the infantry with light-machine-guns and sharpshooters. Although, he only had a pair of sharpshooters and another of supports. But he was assured, there were more with strategic points. This was his first time as squad leader...he was very nervous, but he made his possible to not show to his men, always with a smile of confidence. The objective was close.
"Listen! 20 seconds for landing, you both see those trees? we need to get up there, there's some easy climbing rocks on the left side, we are not supposed to go from there but it's our best option. Let us handle the way up, we will cover and wait for you all, when we walk out the platform, you guys stay in the boat and cover, understood?!"
"yes sir!"
They got close to the ramp, he could feel his heart flooding his body with adrenaline. An awful noise came from the bellow the floor, the boat was passing over some rocks, and seconds after the motors were stopped. The pilot seemed concerned but he carried on, the boat reached the shore and the ramp gone down.
"GO!" Brevinic rushed out of the boat with so much strenght that all the others were left behind. He reached the rocks and started climbing the first ones, after finding a good rocky platform he watched the hills above for any trap. The others reached him and continued. Almost up there, he could see the trees,
"You two! Wait, throw the grappling hooks there, try to reach the trees, see if they are solid. You guys keep going around, move!"
The hooks worked perfectly, they started climbing in alternated times, they reached the top some 10 seconds before the guys that went around did.
"OK, communicate to the boat, we're at the Objective Trees. Did you guys see anything the way up there?"
"No sir! We only heard the boats arriving the beach."
"Oh well, you can see that from here, look...amasing. Alright enough of this, get to defensive positions, get dirty and sand for this bags!"
But he kept looking...the view was amasing, he never seen any exercise like this, it seemed like an invasion force. You could even see the fleet. He had a job to do, the other guys arrived and the communications man with a laptop on logistics settled himself in the improvised trench.
"Give me confirmation of the those wooden structures over there."
"They are already in the map sir, Vasco says those were confirmed minutes ago as Objective Gamma."
"Do you count 37 obstacles in the beach?"
"No, only 20."
"Here, here and here, groups of five are missing, transmit ASAP."
"Roger."
Massive amounts of troops started to disembark on the beach, two small trenches were created while the rest kept going. There was a rocky hill ahead, with a road. The objective was to secure all land to the road for transports.
"They are late, you guys stay here and support us and them. We're moving to the North part of the road, we can't stay here forever. See those wooden structures? We're going to split, you take the left one i take the right one. Ready?"
"In position, ready."
"Ready sir!"
"Ready to move!"
"To those bushes first, go!"
They started to run, when they reached the bushes they formed a line.
"OK, easy smoke."
"Smoke!"
"Smoke!"
"Fine, go!"
"Sir! watch the road!"
"Those are obstacles, keep running."
They reached the structures and started a quick assault.
"Left Structure Clear!"
Brenivic climbed to the top floor and saw a bag.
"Get down!"
"It's just a bag, let me check it."
"Alright, everyone else stay down."
"Oh very funny, we got objective Gamma."
"What?"
"It's what it says in this paper."
"Oh ok...transmit to our guy for logistics, we have Gamma."
"June Six, Here's June One, We have Gamma."
"Say again?"
"We have Gamma, we have Objective Gamma."
"Copy, transmitting...alright, we need new orders."
"They are asking for new orders, sir."
"Our guys will stay here, the rest moves back to meet the ones left, tell them to stay where they are."
Sergeant Fernandes ran up the hill for Objective Gamma, it was the last one for him. He saw some people in the structures and used precaution.
Sgt. Fernandes: "Wolf Spotted!"
Everyone dropped to the dirty ground and aimed to the structure.
Sgt. Fernandes: "Get me info on the Wolf."
"It's a pack of wolves sergeant."
"Extra careful then, quick on that info."
"Sir, they are friendly, 3rd Special Deployment Squad."
Sgt. Fernandes: "Argh! Let's meet them, I wanna know what they are doing in my objective."
Brenivic: "Hey! Who are you guys?!"
Fernandes: "5th Front Line Landing Squad!"
Brenivic: "What took you so long?"
Fernandes: "The weather and this stupid road. What are you guys doing in my objective?"
Brenivic: "Well we couldn't sit waiting for you, we moved, nothing to worry, there was no surprises here, I guess they weren't expecting anyone coming from the rocks."
Fernandes: "Well, good, was there any message here?"
Brenivic: "Yes, this paper, has a code in the bottom."
Fernandes: "Alright, we're finished. I've brought this on the way..."
Brenivic: "Vodka? Don't touch that unless you share with my guys."
Fernandes: "Sure."
