He watched a man be dragged away by SOSOT agents as he went into his new room.

Have fun! he almost said, but he figured it'd be best not to get involved with the STIA. Moving a few chairs around, and looking at his non-Ozian watch, he saw he had about 4 hours left until work. He couldn't tell Ozian time, hadn't used it since 1989. Just converted the numbers in his head to the time of the rest of the world, and left it at that.

Henley went and got his things from the hotel he was staying at, checked out, and unpacked back at his place. Now there was only...3 hours left until work. This was going to be a long day. Let's go waste time down at the coffee shop, they did it on all those American TV shows and look at them.

"I'll have a cup of coffee, black." Henley told the waitress, sitting down at the counter and flipping around a newspaper ad to look for one of those "nifty little helicopters", as he called them.
"I assure you -- I will be quite content to be a mere mortal again, dedicated to my own amusements."

The STIA agent smiled, "No need to know what we need you for now, that's our little secret, what we injected into you were some drugs that block your judgment, you will tell us what we want." The other agents tied his head against the head rest and the man and the knots were tied in such a way that if he struggled they would just tighten him more, "While we're at it, let me introduce myself. I am Agent Kar of the STIA Civil Protection Agency. Right now you're going to feel a slight pain on your neck."

Then one of his assistants brought in a iron rod with a brand at the tip which took the shape of the crossed out mark of gaea. He then prodded the heated rod into his neck, burning the Ozian emblem with a cross out on his neck. (think my flag's symbol with an X over it, such a mark is a humiliating mark and mark of perversion. Some tend to stay away from you if you have it.)

Agent Vareski laughed as this little squirm just took the pain, "We have more fun to come, that was just the beginning my friend!"

He looked at Frelav's right hand and said to him "Was this the trigger finger that you shot people with and endangered the community with? I think I'll take it!" Taking a knife from his red robe, he sliced off Frelav's right index finger. He then got his instrument for ripping off finger nails and placed it on each of his finger nails, ripping them off one by one and laughing. At the end of it he laughed some more saying "It's almost time for supper and you need to get washed up!"

An Assistant threw a bucket of water on Frelav and another came in with food, "You need any words before you eat?"

Karpov took the back way up to his room, there seemed to be alot of activity going on that was most likely none of his buisness. he was always careful there was no need to worry. he decided to take another shower before heading to bed.

why the barman? why did they want him dead? he was no threat, anyone could see that plain as Gaea will see his soul. the price on his head was way too big for such a smallfry. money is money but something is fishy here. i need answers. now i will have enough money for the next year and a half to live as i do. however i believe i shall use some of that money to entice some others to help me solve this mystery. why was the barman so important?

that night his only dreams were of the barman and the wonderful tales of his rather boring life....

Natasha had been rattled while taking her bath when she heard the flash bang. Her ISZ-24 was resting by the bath, and her hand reached for it. A flashbang, that has to be SOSOT! Her hand quickly withdrew from her weapon, the last thing she needed was to be armed in front of SOSOT. She listened as her flatmate was wrestled out of his room, a smile crossing her face slowly. She finished rinsing her body and relaxed for a few minutes, wondering if they would come back.

She got out of the bathtub, feeling squeaky clean. She dried herself off, wrapping a towel around her head while putting a robe over her naked body. She looked at herself in the mirror and yawned, feeling an urge to yawn again after seeing herself. Now, now I need sleep, she thought, picking up her gun and walking to bed.

She slipped off her robe while looking out the small window, St. Oz city was so beautiful at night, a brilliant moon shone brightly in the sky while thousands of lights forced the stars to withdraw. She unwrapped the towel, scrubbing her hair roughly before folding it quickly and tossing it by her chair. She sat there naked in the moonlight with her pistol reflecting light which shone on her skin. The gun was warm, she kept it with her all day long. It was her closest friend. She kissed it softly before setting it under her pillow, throwing the covers over her and closing her eyes. She drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep.

"Yeah, F*ck you."

Frelav grinned at the officers, knowing that with that comment, they will  give him more pain. He sat back in the chair, and tried to make himself comfy. He looked at Kar with defiance.

waking up the next morning Karpovquickly dressed and armed himself. he was full of anxiety and questions without answers. he decided he needed to talk to the Dire about what had happened. he was sure that he might be able to shed some light on the subject, also he was probably the only person in all of the world he trusted with his secrets.

coming down the stairs he headed to get a cup of coffee and a pack of cigarettes. he sat down drinking his coffee and chain smoking. he decided to pick up a newspaper to read until the Dire made his way down. he waited for a few hours for the Dire to show up, it seemed urgent that he talk to this man who was so like a father to him and yet so uncaring about what he does for his rent money. eventualy he was alone with some Inglish blooded fool and a youngish woman who was tending to the counter. he decided to get some espresso this time....

The Agent laughed at the hopeless prisoner and replied, "There are two bumpy roads that you can take, You have a choice of the short one and the long one. Each one leads to certain death. Now... Tell us the names of Gang leaders, including your own, and I will give you this medicine in the syringe for a quick painless death. If you refuse to tell me anything," He pulled out his knife with a maniacal grin, "I think I might draw a pretty picture."

Frelav looked down at his shoes for a while. He slowly rose his head up, laughing very hard.

"Do you honestly think death is the worse thing you can do do me?"

He just kept on laughing, having a smug grin on his face.

ooc: I don't think anyone could bear what is to happen.

IC: The Agent laughed "Pain is universal, nobody can avoid it, what we will do to you is nothing that your miserable mind could ever think up. But we'll do easy things first"

With Frelav tied and secured to the chair, only limited to movement of his neck he had his assistants put video screen glasses on his head. A new instrument to their tortures. The video screen that was worn like glasses showed pictures happiness and togetherness. The procedure was called the Painful Utopia. The victim views pictures of happy things while the performers of the torture inflict pain on the person. The first thing that they did when they turned on the video screen of children playing in a pool, a sunset, and a family hugging was breaking his fingers by pulling them all the way back. Then the Agent took a nail gun and individually nailed each finger while bent back into the finger, then the flesh of his hand, and then stuck to the wood. The agent then asked him, "Were you planning to run? How can you run if your... stuck to the floor?"

He shot more nails into his feet and had them stick into the wood of the floor. He shot them repeatedly to make sure they were stuck to the floor, he asked him "Still don't want to tell me?"

"Ahhhhh!!!! Gaeav pri'gamae praz!!! Lia fa'dreso! LIA Fa'dreso!!!"
(Ozian Editing for correct cultural swearing for the English equivalent of "AH! F*CK! GOD DA*N MOTHER F*CKER! I'LL TELL YOU")

Frelav began to spill out all the info he had on the Gangs. He looked down, knowing that hes going to die.

The Agent then smiled and said, "Pleasure doing business, Gaea will meet you now.."

He stuck the syringe into his neck, injecting the drug that would kill him quietly. He pulled out a Zuavka Cigar from his pocket and lit it up, then instructed to one of his assistants, "Help him smoke this since his hands have become useless."

He then instructed to the others to wait for him to die and clean it up, he set the nail gun and the empty syringe on the table in the concrete interrogation room. He thought to himself, I believe it's meal time...

Natasha woke up rather slowly, the open window illuminating her figure. She looked at the time and methodically put clothing over her body. She looked outside, something told her it might get a little chilly today, maybe into the twenties. She wondered if she'd see snow this time of year, as summer slowly drew to a close. She looked to her boots, still scuffed, and took them with her to the living room where all her flatmates walked as they went downstairs. She threw herself into a rather large chair, the upholstery was a bit warn and a bit of dust puffed into the air as she sat.

Her eyes watched the dust float around the room before her attention was drawn to her boot polish and the cloth and brush that were her tools. She quickly got to work in the quiet room, her police ushanka watching her from the table. She was finished within minutes, and she smiled at her reflection. She tied her hair back in a ponytail, tied her boots, and placed her ushanka on her head. She rose steadily, everyone seemed to either still be asleep, or maybe downstairs. Natasha still had some time to blow, she wouldn't mind a muffin and coffee. Something with cream...

Her boots hit the stairs heavily and she entered the bakery quietly, moving to the counter where she encountered the same man as before, only this time he didn't smell like alcohol.

Karpov looked the woman up and down very calulating. definately with the police, perhaps she can help me out. i don't want to tell her though unless i can get her at my mercy or can at least be convinced that she won't arrest me.

"good morning, would you like to sit down with me for coffee? it's my buy as long as company of a housemate does no offend you."

he gave her one of his rare smiles which just didn't sit right on his face. he extinguished his cigarette in an ashtray and awaited her response. not bad looking for a cop, perhaps they think it will stop someone from putting a bullet in her skull if they think its a pretty face on the skull.

Zeriev laughed at Karpov, "You never have bought for anyone before, what makes you so nice today eh? Anyway, how're you doing today Natasha? You seem renewed as opposed to yesterday when you forgot I was in the room."
