Ignorant Barakarins! They come here, but don't bother on learning the language. Victor turned to Dalbior. "Francophone, Quebecois speakers. The Canadian military segragates the units on whether or not you speak Inglish or Quebecois as your first language. The Quebecois even has it's own battle fleet. Makes military organization easier."

OOC: just going to RP them getting to boot camp

"Really?"

Damm it

Sure, Dalibor just got here. But still, he should have learned the native launge. He went to sleep. A few hours later, he woke up, somebody shaking him awake. He got off the bus, and there was the Drill Sargent Yelling at them.

Sancho stood beside Dalibor, straight as a lamppost.
Together with the other they formed a line their bags on the ground  in front of them.
Sancho looked at a point straight ahead of him seemingly starring into nowhere.
He mumbled under his breath.
"Stand straight or he will chew you."

"All Canadian signups head for the line marked A1. All other foreign citizens will go through screening in B1. Those in B1 must turn in all ID and proof of citizenship to screening personnel. They will be return at the end of contract. Have your contracts and photo I.D out and ready."

Line A1:

Contract was check and identity was confirmed. For the most part, things were speedy. Their contract were stamped and each recruit was given a key to their bed chest locker. A drillmaster than handed out a folded set of uniforms, all pre-sized and name tagged to their assigned man.

"Sergeant Tiu Lee will escort you to your barrack dorms. You will be staying in five-bed quarters, each bed has your name labeled on it. You have 30 minutes to unpack and introduce yourself to your new comrades before orientation. File out!"

Line B1:

Things were going much slower at the foreigners' booth. Their bags were searched, for what nobody knew. Their ids were check, than double checked. Two officers with yellow envelopes at their side to pack any citizenship id or passport surrendered by the recruits. Name and serial code were label on each envelope with black marker. They were then made to sign a form which erased them as citizens of their former country. At the end of all this, they were too given a uniform and told to unpack at their dorms.

ooc: Barak, Aulrene is Canadian. You're in line with Sancho  :D.

Aulrene received his uniform, and he walked through into Fort Jolen. Taking a good look for the first time, he saw several sets of white wash rectangular buildings and various military vehicles lined up against a few. The last sergeant had gone back with several recruits before him, so he will have to wait. Looking around, he saw the guy from before, the O'Neil.

Victor walked up to his comrade with his new uniform. "Not like the newer battle uniforms we used to wear. These are ugly." Aulrene nodded. They had enjoyed the powerful, impressive blue Canadian battle armor, but now they were wearing khaki. "Where is that sergeant . Do we have to show the Loyanese real military disipline."

"I don't know. They didn't tell me much about training. I served in the provincial militia, so I won't know."

Aulrene fiddled with the uniform he was given. A pair of khaki pants, khaki overshirt, and white undershirt were bonded together flat with two cardboard straps. The khakis were dyed in a light cream and the fabric felt thick but smooth. On the front of his overshirt, his name and a black stripe ran across his chest pocket.

Curious if there was an arm patch, he pulled out the left sleeve from the tight binding. Sure enough, there was a flower shaped patch and a single black stripe sewed on. He recognized the flower right away, it was a trillium. The letters L,O, and L were stitched into each petal. He rubbed the patch with his finger gently, there was a weird feeling.

"I like it..." he mumbled out unknowingly.

Victor looked at the younger man. He had heard what he said. "You're probably right. It doesn't matter what we where as long as we are doing our jobs. Oh here comes the sergeant. Best get in line so they don't yell at us." The two men got in line with the others as they got in formation. The drill sergeant was big for a Loyanese and looked like he knew what he was doing. Victor thought. Well, no turning back now.

He felt at home among the all the other Canadian soldiers. Aaron had been a soldier since he was seventeen when he joined the provinical militia. When he became nineteen, Aaron moved on to the regulars. He like many Canadian soldiers was a veteran of the still-ongoing South Continental Wars. He was also a devout Orthodox Ibrahimic, meaing he followed the teachings of Ibrahim, the man who created the first monothestic religion thousands of years ago. He wore the Star of Ibrahim around his neck on a necklace. He watched the sergeant as he explained the process of the weeks ahead. He stood as still and stiff as a statue. He couldn't wait to start doing the training. He noticed four other men standing beside him. One was a huge, scary-looking man. One was a gentle looking one. The other two looked foriegn. I should meet them.

"uhh...mmy nname is Dailbor. Just thought tthat since we were going to be in the same uunit together, might as well know you..and...yeah"

Dalibor went back to his bunk, and pulled out his old hunting knife. He looked at it, looking for wears and tears. He hade had this knife this kinfe since he was a 13. He looked at the one guy, the younger one who had he just spoken to. He kept on looking at the knife.
