"Haha, it doesn't even sound good in Theory? Why should I sacrifice my hard earned wages for lazy people? Well anyway, Who do you plan on talking to when we get to the Capital?"

"Who is your leader? Or who is representing your leader who would be willing to talk to us?"

"Well I guess you could talk before the Res'shev. The elder elites of our country. They are then represented by the Pri'mav but essentially they're all equal...

The Journal of Hupprecht Patrick, Conquesteur of the Myrorian Expedition to the Northern Pole of Taijitu
Day 35, Ozian Capital

An Ozian family was kind enough to give us a ride on the back of their ice-worm. I think they refered to it as a pie-hooloo, but that's probably not how its spelled. Their daughter, of maybe age 18 or 19, was the only one who could speak Inglish, so we naturally got questioned about our homes on the way there. Regardless, t'was a nice journey. I guess Ewoud was right about the ice worms.

Unfortunately, the Ozian government forbids people from travelling to the North Pole during winter; one of the critical oversights I made was in the fact that being summer in the southern hemisphere does not make it summer in the northern one. Ah well, at least we have the distinction of being the first to find this country. Tomorrow I meet with the Pree-mav, the one who represents the leaders of this land. The Ozians were kind enough to provide us with an apartment for us to stay in during the winter months. This will likely be the last journal entry I make during the winter, for nothing of interest for the scientists that will ultimately read this will likely come from a trip around this beautiful city.

While walking in Government square she pointed up to the tower which was the general location of the Res'shev, "That's the Tower of Oz, a 700 meter high tower, I've never been at the foot of it though."

There were soldiers marching about the Government square because of the war and they were outside protecting the area. While they were walking closer and closer 3 jeeps drove to the group. The Daughter had left her family who stayed at the apartment while she showed them around government square.

In Ozian the soldiers said, "Who are these? They are not Ozian, Moaci, or of the Southern tribes."

Ami repeated back in Ozian, "These people were found near the southern border of St Oz while me and my family were performing the sacred dance of the Pai'hulu"

The soldier noticed the Fre'zhi crest on her neck.

"I see, but what are they?"

"They say they're Myrorian."

"What's a Myrorian?"

"I don't know, some nation to the far south"

"They must come with me, you also come with me, you seem to speak their language of Inglish well... We lack translators of that level in the Res'shev."

"I thank you but I have a family to get back to."

The soldier armed his I-19, "you have no choice of this matter."

She said in Inglish to the explorers, "Follow him."

They all were escorted by the Ozian soldiers to the Res'shev entrance where they were taken inside the walls of it.

Hupprecht sat before the Res'shev.

"Guten Tag - Good day. Do you have some questions for myself and my group?"

He waited for the teenager to translate it before talking again.

"Shi..."

Ami was interrupted by the Pri'mav, "I speak this Inglish, young one."

His voice filled the hallway, "Now tell me, Myrorian, Why have you come here? I've always wondered when you southerners were going to venture up here. You see, this nation has been isolated for many years, and I've kept it that way. There must be some gain for us? I'm sure when you go back home you'll write a book, get glory, and money. What will we get out of this? And for this we will keep you here until then."

"My team and I here were recruited by the IAEO - the Imperial Aristocratic Exploration Order - to reach the Northern Pole of this planet. On the way, we met your citizen here and her family. Well, they informed us that your government wouldn't allow us to reach the North Pole until winter was over. See, when we left Myroria, it was summer there because we were in the Southern Hemisphere. Since this is the northern one, it's winter. Critical oversight. Now, you ask me what can you gain from this? Everything! Outside this nation, there's so much to be gained. There's people on Selene; canals longer than you would ever believe! Nations down south have access to so many resources as to make one's head spin! And this could be yours for the taking!"

"We've done well on our own and perhaps we could because sooner or later we will have the Moaci scum in the bag. Anyway, You insult me Myrorian, You thinking we need anymore resources? I know what goes on in Myroria, regular Ozian Citizens don't know much about the outside world but with recent space explorations and the STIA, our intelligence agency sending out agents everyday to investigate these said nations, Many of them are in civil war, some have violated civil rights such as yours, greedy businessmen, Communists, and Christianity. There would be a new cultural invasion. What are we to do? Perhaps I overlook this... But that is not for me to decide. Please my fellow Res'shev, Please think about what we shall do. Trust these Myrorians and go a step foreward or rebuild a broken stone wall? You have one last say before the vote Myrorian"

"You will not be invaded by southern culture. The Communists keep to themselves, the Christians aren't nearly as forcing as they used to be. I can assure you that Myrorians has violated no civil rights.

The 50 members of the Res'shev had voted for Open relations with Myroria and possibly other Southern Nations.
The numbers read
31- For
12- abstain
7- Against

The Pri'mav looked angry and another member said, "We won't know until we try. Perhaps these Lowly Myor people... however you say it. have some use for us."

"Zah'fe!" (Accepted!) the pri'mav angerly yelled.

"But, You citizen... your name?"

She said shyly, "Ami'ku Tse'tuga Zhou, a've Pri'mav"

"Eli'khan'zhu E'shou tu ku"

She smiled and said, "Dao ma! Dao ma a've pri'mav!"

The Pri'mav however didn't smile, "Be gone."

The pri'mav stood up and straightened his minister hat and went down the hall for some tea.

"Good news, I'm now Ambassador to Myroria, I have a job! Papa will be so happy! I have to look after you all until you leave Myroria though, I need to be shown around there."

"OK. When we do leave for the North Pole, which is the most practical thing to do, do you wish to come with us or stay in Saint Oz City here?"

"Sorry. I misheard you. I doubt your pilots know the way to Saint Oz City, so we could probably make it to Starting Camp in about 8 days if we went straight by helicopter. However, we'll need to refuel it and get supplies before we go. How long would that take?"
