The light turned green, "GO! GO! GO!" yelled the jump master. the 60 marines on the Herc started walking out the back two side doors. It was a low jump just 1000 feet, but well with in jump safety limits. The marines landing were carrying Rucksacks. In total the sky filled with 300 tinny little figures floating to the ground and 10 pallets. The pallets were filled with long range communications equipment, Constantina wire, mod tents, medical supplies, and previsions.

A soldier hit the ground, on his epaulet was one hook, on his name tape it read Archer. He quickly stood up took off his parachute and began to twirl it up. After that he grabbed his rucksack threw it on his back and headed to the rondevu point.

NEO had landed in Canada.

Pte. Archer ran through a Field towards a treeline, as paratroopers continued to land on the ground. Dressed in VAMPAT (VAlideen Marine PATern), carrying the Standard C7A2 assault rifle. He was running as fast as he could, beside other marines. Carrying close to 70 pounds of kit, he wasn't running fast. Once he reached the treeline his section commander, who had already assembled the majority of his section, called him over.

"Archer, we are going to secure one of the pallets. We are just waiting for Hicks to show up. Check over make sure you kit and ruck is secure because they are a good 2km off the DZ thanks to the Pilot who released them a little late, that and wind." said Archers section commander, who had two hooks and a leaf.

They waited five minutes, just enough time for the master corporal to get a fix on the position of the pallet and plot a bearing on the compass. Just as she finished with that Pte Hicks came running up, a branch was stuck in his helmet.

"Were have you been Hicks?" asked the Master Corporal.

"Sorry, landed in a tree." replied Hicks.

"Ok, secure your kit. You have 30 seconds." With that order Hicks made sure his ruck was on tight, and that everything dangling off of him was securely dangling off him. The master corporal stood up ok BACD formation, 5 meter spacing," she then waved her hand back and forth, the open palm was facing the side of her head, indicating single file.

**45 minutes later**

The Master Corporal raised her hand, open palmed facing forward, signaling a halt. She then lowered the hand and swept it back showing that it was going to be a long halt. With that order as it was passed back everyone took a knee and faced their arks of fire. "2IC on me," whispered the Master Corporal, it was passed back as '2IC on Master Corporal,' Corporal Jackson monkey ran up towards the Master Corporal.

"Ok, I want you to have Assault group two stay here on this ridge. Cover our approach, we dont know if there are any DSA troops or any hostile fighters in the area. Myself and Assault group one are going to run down to the pallet and set up an all around defence. That is when Charlie team will come down to our position so we can secure the pallet, while your team stays here to provide cover with your LMG." stated the Master Corporal.

"Understood," said the Corporal.

Just then the Master Corporal signaled an extended line in the prone on the edge of the ridge.

ic: Colonel Charles Paul was trogging through the woods. His red uniform was stained, and his Storm rifle was kept off the saftey. Never know. He and his command squad had seen the paratroopers and he hoped it wasn't DSA troops. The Princess Hoshi's Light Infantry Regiment had held off a DSA attack on Prince George, and the colonel thought this was another attack. His troops were spread out and on the constant lookout for DSA advances. He pulled out his binoculars and looked over the ridge. There were soldiers not dressed in the DSA's traditional green-grey. Who are they? He signalled the command squad towards the ridge. Just in front of the colonel was a company of riflemen and another company of mortars. They slowly and silently made their way up the ridge and soon was flanking the strange troops. But they were prepared, they had put themselves in a defensive position. Charles made a rough guess that they were allies not enemies. "Hello there! I am Colonel Charles Paul of the Canadian Army, Commander of the Princess Hoshi's Light Infantry! You are surrounded! Identify yourselves!"

"Umm, Master Corporal," yelled the C9 Gunner who was looking down his sights.

"What is it private?" asked the Master Corporal, as she was looking down the sight of her rifle.

"We have movement, targets 80 meters, my entire arch, unknown combatants." yelled the C9 Gunner.

"Hold fire, I see them too. They are dressed in the uniform of the Canadian Empire." she raised her weapon on the chest of someone with a high rank. He stood up and addressed the section. "We are Valideen Marines. We are the NEO Force here to evac any civilians who want safe haven back in Validus until the end of the conflict. Tell your men to lower there weapons. I am Master Corporal Ellis, 2 section Commander."

C9 Gunner: "Sir i see two guys down there."
Master Corporal: "Are they armed?"
C9 Gunner: "They seem so..."

*PAF*the two guys on the horizon dropped to the floor and rolled out of the way into some bushes and rocks. After some 5 seconds a hand came out of the rock, waving. You could see a gun being shown out of the rock, then a head...
C9 Gunner: "Sir shall i fire?"
Master Corporal: "Hold it."
*then the guy raised up and came walking
Master Corporal: "Identify yourself!"
*Yellow Bird*:"I'm not the enemy, don't shoot." * the guy held his AK from the barrel showing no intention to fire.
Master Corporal: "Come slowly, tell your friend to show up."
*the guy shouted in a familiar language and the other came out the rock*
Yellow Bird: "By any chance, do you have a smoke?"
Master Corporal: "Who's your friend? And who else is out there?"
Yellow Bird: "Just us, he's Silver Goat, and you have Canadian defenses in 3km. Satisfied?"

"Master Corporal, we have movement in the distance," said a Private looking through the sight of his C7A2 rifle scope.

"What do you see Charlie?"

"Looks like two guys at 140 meters, at the edge of the treeline," replied Charlie as the 2IC monkey ran over to him.

"Ok Charlie, were are they," asked Corporal Jackson.

"Right there Corporal," Charlie gave the soul chop towards the area that the two unknown people were.

Cpl Jackson looked through the sight of his rifle, "Master Corporal, they are advancing towards us, tactical. Doesn't look like they want to be spotted."

"Corporal keep an eye on it, you know what to do if anything happens."

"Yes Master Corporal."

The two men closed in to with in 50 meters of the Section. with three rifles trained on them Corporal Jackson yelled at them, "HALT!" the two men froze, "Raise your hands, have them were I can see them. The first one step forward to be identified."

The man started to walk towards the Marines hands above his head, "I'm not the enemy, don't shoot."

"I dont have any intention to shoot as long as you dont do anything stupid." replied Jackson.

The stranger asked "By any chance, do you have a smoke?"

"Get on the ground, spread your legs and inter twin your fingers on the back of your head." ordered the corporal.

"YOU!" Pointed Corporal Jackson at the second man, "Come forward," the second man approached the three Marines. "Now who the hell are you?"

The man on the ground looked up, "I'm Yellow Bird, he's Silver Goat, Satisfied? Now who are you?"

"Need to know, and you dont need to know."
