Civil War in Veramark

The soldiers were nervous., there was general unrest though out veramark. they wanted the imperial government out of power. they wanted freedom. but, the veramark government allowed gernal elections to take place. the main parties were the Imperialists, running for a 10th term, the Social Republicans, the Communists and the Democrats. They had to gurad in case of a attack

The Democratic Socialists raised a army called the NIU to fight for a new government the imperstists wont offer. The Commusits did the same. before long everybody thought, war will take place. The commusits army, the NLFV, knew that they should take out the NIU before they could attack. Soon, a 3 way war was going on, the NIU, the NLFV and the Govment. The NIU Had their stake on the hill regions and half of the plains region. the NLFV had there stake on the forest region. the govment ruled over all of the citys and part of the plains area.

The surface-to-air missile stations located around the capital of Pelagis shot down the bombers as they were entering the city. The damage from the crashes was minimal, and a total of five buildings on the outskirts collapsed.

In retribution for the act of war against the Myrorian Empire, stealth bombers set off from Klaipeda, Myroria, aimed for small cities located around Veramark. Three destroyers moved from their location off the coast of Isla Imperiale to move to the waters near Veramark. The Myrorian Empire issued this statement:

As a result of the attempted bombing of Pelagis, and realising the repeated atrocities of the Veramarki government, the Myrorian Armed Forces declare a state of war between our two countries. Diplomats have been recalled, and we offer the government the chance to surrender peacefully.
