[Saletsia]

While a number of the ballistic missiles that came from St. Oz were neutralized by the newly installed IAI Arrow SAMs, some still hit the city destroying housing complexes, capitols, schools, clinics and temples. Most of the casualties were civilians who had been in Utopia ever since: the first workers that had come from the Saletsian mainland.
Meanwhile Gov.-Gen. Mosche Elmert had sent orders from the Barakarin-Saletsian military base to continue flying in supplies coming from the South. The MiG-35 was a good choice for the barren lands of Utopia since it was able to take off from non-asphalted runways. These were still patrolling the skies, along with the F-5Ts and their feared Python air-to-air missiles. Saletsia-Minor would not be given away for the imperialistic ambitions of a nation that knew nothing but destruction.
A number of mercenaries had been sent further to the borders.
Instead of firing Saletsian missiles, Moshe chose to wait for the enemy to come. The bombardments of cities full of civilians would surely not be left unnoticed in Taijitu.

You now have launched the first strike which proves to us you had no peaceful intentions whatsoever. It is all about grabbing more land, land inhabited by Saletsians since the foundation of Utopia and land that we Saletsians have developed. Ozian forces began mobilizing near our borders - a sign of aggression now proven by your first assaults on a peaceful nation of workers and intellectuals.
Had you really want you, you would have given diplomacy a chance. Unfortunately Ozians seem not to know the meaning of diplomacy due to their leader's arrogance - being too full of her nation's military power.
You aready attacked us...You are responsible for the coming deaths of all that will fall in this conlict. May your arrogance and war-loving-nature be cursed!

Moshe sent a request for another division to be transported to Saletsia-Minor. Further more, he requested for more military equipment.
Meanwhile MANPADs, RPG-29s were also distributed to the people, some using the rubbles of the areas hit by the missiles as a provisory camp. Some high-ranking officials and civilians were brought into the bunkers that lie deep within ex-Utopian mountains and Saletsian cities. Two smaller cities were severly damaged by the assault upon which their mayors ordered their evacuation.

(ooc: You do know arrow SAMs only target Ballistic missiles and do you have enough systems and missiles to take out all of the Ballistic missiles? With that large of a bombardment I would think I have depleted them. Also I'm not sure how many Airports you could easily have in a Mountainous Region <_<. Also, don't you know... you can't win? Even if I was smaller and weaker I would probably when because this war is out in the middle of O. Right now I just have super advantage as getting supplies into there is tough and expensive. Almost like trying to save Mongolia from a Chinese invasion but up in high mountains where helicopters are actually practically useless.)

Radio talk show Gaeanist Extremists such as Dire Fahiv on Gaea Talk aired his show, "So at first I didn't care about this Utopian War, just another skirmish with Foreigners to kick them out of our sights. We've had ton of these encounters in the past and so far the only arrogent fool to actually stand up to us is General Moshe Elmert. A Saletsian who recently administers the Saletsians claims. I repeat from a government message to referring to our Gaea, "You aready attacked us...You are responsible for the coming deaths of all that will fall in this conlict. May your arrogance and war-loving-nature be cursed!". Unbelievable that this man dare defy our divinity, He insults the speaker of Gaea and curses her! I actually honor the actions of the Canadians, they respected our borders and left the country, but the Saletsians disrespect our lands and Gaea. In which case there should be deaths to the Saletsians! For they I see them as non-spirits. We must cleanse our Great O territories of their madness. What were those workers doing in the great lands of O in the first place! This place isn't for Eastians or Arcadians or any other bastards! OOC: Yeah I know and I RPed the civilian and military casualties and as far as I'm concerned, there are no exact numbers yet when some buildings lie in rubbles.
As for winning or not, I don't really care It's fun to see how the whole thing develops and also a challenge to get some Ozians killed.lol
As for mountains, take a look at the physical map: the area in the West near the Delfian territory is actually a valley-like plain. So I wonder how your invasory forces will get there? Cross another nation? Violate the UASS territory's sovereignty? Or just march through the Eastern mountains?
As for supplies: Utopia was a project started quite a time go and I have already RPed that we Saletsians - as in the motherland - make use of hydroponics and obviously those workers sent to Utopia did not just sit around doing nothing for extra equipment, we still have planes.

Those who wish to leave shall be given permission to leave Saletsia-Minor. We thank you for your support.

After some time of waiting, the first batches of the 2nd division the Governor-General called for started arriving bringing with them more weapons - some for an eventual guerrilla warfare. No one expected to win this war, but no one was willing to give up that fast. All Saletsians were tired of the arrogant attitude of the Ozians thining they could force their will unto others because of their enormous military strength.
While reinforcements were arriving, money was flowing into Saletsian.Minor bank accounts for the payment of more mercenaries when needed.

[Delfos]

The Aerial Transport arrived the City of Esperança, they didn't came empty, bringing with them Tunguskas and Unimogs AA vehicles, 2S19 Msta artillery, ERC-90 light tanks, BTR-94 APCs, BM-30 Ural-4320 and SA-21 Missile Launchers, and several smaller vehicles including the Lizards special units and Goshawks, with small helicopters.

All the Shilkas in the ground had gone to Heshaidon to assist the other forces.

After the unloading, few civilians were loaded to take the refugees out of Utopia, having temporary destinations of Jutensa and Varkour Inf.

[Saletsia]

Governor-Moshe Elmert welcomed the arrival of the Delfian forces. Amongst the Saletsians who left for Esperanca were the old and the sick and Moshe's son and his boyfriend. The two were to then fly to the Barakarin-Saletsian military base.
Meanwhile helicopters transported Saletsian troopers with MANPADs and shoulder-launched SAMs to various positions, other were to further mine the possible routes that could be taken to invade the capital city and Seres.
Despite the tensions and troubles, most pubs still opened giving most Saletsians and their Delfian comrades a sense of harmony.

Chancellor Yuri watched his t.v on the reports of engagements in the Utopian region. A new war was starting. He was grateful that General Richards pulled out when he did. The Canadian Army was in no place to stand against the Ozian military. But he couldn't stand by and let two of his allies be attacked by Oz. He picked up his phone. "Get me the Delfo-Canadian Coalition Supreme Command...Thank you...Generals, this is Chancellor Yuri von Hessian. Prepare your troops for war. We plan to defend the Salestians and Delfians in this Utopian War. I want the first units to set down in Salestia-Minor immediatly. I will request that more equipment and recruitment be advanced in this alliance....Yes....I am not kinding, the Delfo-Canadian Coalition goes to war."

We aren't here to retake Acadia, we are here to defend Deflian and Salestian civilians in the region. We will not see your people killed by this imperialism. We have bled alongside your people before, and we will bleed beside you again.

At this point on, the Delfo-Canadian Coalition Forces are currently at war with you. This is not a declaration of war from Canada-Quebec, the Coalition is a sort of separate entity. The generals take the advice of the leaders of Delfos and Canada. We are not coming to retake our colony, but we are here to defend the Delfians and Salestians who have a rightful claim to the region.

I - on behalf of all Saletsians - would like to thank you for your efforts in helping us in this conflict. Your loyalty as an ally shall not be forgotten and we hope for a time to come when we can repay you such kindness. Saletsian-Minor airspace shall be opened for all Delfo-Canadian transports and other aircrafts. It would be better though to land within Esperanca since Heshaidon and Seres have just been attacked recently by Ozian ballistic missiles. Another option would be landing in the plains on the outskirts of these two major cities. We wish your forces a safe trip.

[Aquatoria]

The first troops landed on the plains in Espercena. They were mostly paratroopers of the First and Second Airborne Divisions, and the soldiers of the First Mountain Division. General Richards jumped with his men. They were now wearing the emblem of the Delfo-Canadian Coalition, which meant they were now under the command of the New Delfos government. Canadians and Delfians were preparing for the move into the mountainous regions that was Salestia-Minor. The army moved quickly. The mountains were close by and the sooner the army was in Salestia, the sooner they would be able to engage the Ozians where ever they were. Richards wondered though, what would the Ozians do in order to directly invade Salestia-Minor. This was no longer a war of fighting for a colony, but a war about defending allies. The Salestians needed help and the Delfo-Canadian Coalition will stand and fall beside them. The mountains soon towered over the men. The army moved into the mountains, using the passes that the Salestians showed them on maps. The Mountain Division was at home here. The snow was thick so Richards came prepared. The men put on skis and cross-country skiied all the way through the mountains. This made the trip faster and easier than tracking through the snow. Hopefully, the Delfo-Canadian Forces would see combat soon.

[Saletsia]

A few Saletsian troopers assigned to guard the borders saw the approaching Delfo-Canadian forces.
"Very punctual. They were supposed to come 20 minutes later."
"Aye those guys surely will be a lot of help."
They then approached the Delfo-Canadians and accompanied them the rest of the way to Heshaidon.

After some time, they could see the city from far from which smoke was rising everywhere and fire-brigade and ambulance sirens could be heard. Furthermore, a number of helicopters hovering around the city was visible and hearable.
Some of the city's defensive measures could also be seen by the Delfo-Canadians. While viewing the ravaged capital city, a C-130 flew above them heading for a provisory air-field just outside Heshaidon.
Furthermore a convoy of civilians heading for the city from the West was noticed.
"Those must be from the Western cities. Small cities and not as much protected as Seres and Heshaidon...I pity those people..."

[Delfos]

ooc: Esperança, Speranza or just Hope. Esperanca is also acceptable :p And you should have dealt with me 1st about this Delfo-Canadian 'war', we never declared war to Oz, we're just aiding the Saletsian. But anyway, whatever Oz considers war against Delfo-Canadian defenses, it's welcome.

Your kind words relieves us a bit more from the tension Oz creates. Your forces are welcome in the City of Esperança, direct all your AA to the Utopian Mountains of Esperança and Seres, all the fighting vehicles and units should meet both our and saletsian forces in Heshaidon.

New units arrived, and surprisingly, 3 Bora Class and 2 Skjold class boats were unloaded, mounted in big transports and taken to the Utopian river, after discovering the lenght and deph of this river, it was concluded that this patrol boats were suitable.

While patrol units near the Utopian river were organizing their orders, they got surprised with such boats in the water...

"Captain, what the fuck is that?"
"A delfian boat..." said with incredible look.

"This is Delta-Niner-Zero-Four, we request permission to land over."

A fleet of choppers flew around Heshaidon, waiting for permission to land. From what they could see, it looked like the city was on fire. The soldiers were sent on a peacekeeping mission to Utopia, and they had orders to meet up with the Salestians at Heshaidon. The commander of the Two regiments sent there was Colonel Esther. He was with his squad in there chopper, waiting for them to land. After 10 mintues, they got clearance to land. After they landed and got out of the choppers, they went to the Saletsian command post, with Colonel Esther at the head. He walked it and spoke to the commanding officer to where they needed to go.

[Saletsia]

"Welcome to Heshaidon", said General Lentz to the Barakarin officer.
"As you can see the city is still on fire in some areas but firefighters are working on it as good as they can.
We thank you for sending peacekeeping forces to Saletsia-Minor. Your help is very much appreciated. You are assigned to patrol and protect the city, which would give us the possibility to send more of our own soldiers to the borders and other areas."

Genral Lentz accompanied Colonel Esther into the headquarters where most movements were being coordinated. Meanwhile the last soldiers of the 2nd Army Division that had been sent to Saletsia-Minor arrived.
They also had 20 F-18 jets with them in addition and more ammunition, rockets etc..

"Alright, my boys will build some bunkers using the rubble. When were done that, we will build a trench from bunker to bunker. That should give us a defense line."
