Planes flew over eastern Utopia in swarms. Paratroopers jumped from the planes as helicoipters landed and emptied tanks, artillery and other military equipment. They set up a base camp at the edge of the river. General Thomas Richards landed alongside his men. Paratroopers were considered the elite of the Canadian Army. Just over the base, the Canada-Quebec flag was flown. Today was the start of a new day in Utopia. Today was the day that the newest addition to the Canada-Quebecois Empire joined. Thomas Richards marched through the camp as he watched the soldiers at work putting up tents an defenses around the base. . He went to his command post and looked over a map of Eastern Utopia with his battalion commanders. "Alright, the Kaiser believes that we should take eastern Utopia, so I will be asking for more troopers to land in the northern regions and also near the border with the Salestian claim. Our neighbors have had no probelems with resistance, and I believe the same will happen here. These soldiers will only secure the region that we are claiming. The new Viceroy will be arriving soon. Our job is to secure the region and allow elections begin for a new Prime Minister and a Parliament. You have your orders. Now do them. Dismissed." The commanders saluted and left.

After hearing of food shortages in Esperanca, Moshe Elmert immediately called for 7 truck loads of food be sent to Esperanca and distributed amongst the people.

The radar stations in Saletsia-Minor caught the Canadian forces on screen. Though no alarms were sounded since the Saletsian had awaited the move.

This wasn't Captain Olmoks first relieve flight.
He had gotten used to the tension flying over territory occupied by armed forces.
And at least the weather had been better at take-off the back when he started his first relieve flight to Llanydern and the Southern Ryazanian border.
One again his plane was loaded to maximum with food, medical supplies and clothing. This time for the refugee camps at Esperanca.
A total of 76 tons in his aircraft alone. And the second C-17 was only 3 miles behind him.
"Utopia territory coming up" his co-pilot said.
"Time to knock" Captain Olmok said.

"Utopia Air Control this is Captain Olmok, Terrangar relief flight inbound to Esperanza. Esperanza Air Control do you copy?"

The cities of eastern Utopia had given in to Canadian occupation quietly and peacefully. General Richards was in a jeep heading into the new capital of Occupied Eastern Utopia. Paratroopers behind him marched into the city in a grand parade. Tanks, artillery and other weapons came through the city. Hind helicopters and CF-35s flew above in perfect formation. Spectre gunships flew high above the city. The city was alive with people coming out to see the new soldiers. The parade stopped in the city's square. A flagpole flying the Utopian flag and the UASS flag was in the middle of the square. A group of soldiers went up to the flagpole and began to lower the flags. General Richards saluted the old flags respectfully. After taking down the old flags, the new Canada-Quebecois flag was rung up the flag and the Canadian army saluted the new flag. General Richards then took the stage made in front of the flagpole. "Ladies and gentlemen of the former Utopia, soldiers of the First Paratrooper Army, welcome to Acadia, the newest addition to our growing empire. All of eastern Utopia is now offically Canadian territory and will be defended as such. But today, I want to announce the creation of the position of Prime Minister and the creation of an Acadian Parliament. The new region of Acadia will be a semi-independent dominion of the Empire and will respected as such. As I speak, volunteers for a new Acadian Army are being called up. When the represenative of the Empire arrives, elections will begin for a new legistaion and a new Prime Minister. Congratualtions, Acadia. You are now free from the claws of the United Axis of Socialist States and have been welcomed into the warm arms of the Canada-Quebecois Empire." The soldiers and civilians cheered.

Having most of the population of Saletsia-Minor come from mainland Saletsia itself, the new colony was not much affected since it was a former UASS member and built most of the territory it now claims.
However some unrest still took place from foreign Utopians. To stop this, the army was deployed.
Everyone was offered $20 000 Saletsian pesos  for compensation.

Meanwhile Moshe Elmert had called for a batch of MX8 AVs.

The Sancta kept hearing report after report from her Priestesses about build ups in Utopia. Never had she had this problem before with the Communists that were located there. Except since the Canadians came in she had been more determined than ever to give them the boot. Recently she's been thinking, What business does Ardanians and Eastians have in the Northern O lands. She however knew about their difficult situation with Supplying the area. The Mountains in the area were very difficult to plant anything. Except she wondered, Those with the Black Eyes... They will be of good use. Except for now she would have to push them from thinking entering Ozian Airspace... Even close to it. More Privateers would have to be sent to take on Confederate Vessels and break more Supply chain. However she thought of even more ingenious motives in taking the land of Utopia. Though cautious, she knew victory was inevitable for divine Ozia.

First she redirected the 200,000 from East Ozia to the borders and she sent a Fre'zhi regiment to meet up with the ones with Black eyes and ask for an agreement. They were mysterious yet terrifying at the same time and she knew if she had that on her side... It would be beneficial. Inside her palace she finally slammed her desk when another STIA report came in. She said to adviser "I know very well of what happened!"

Along with the 200,000 she would direct 60 Ianuavs for the preparations of attack on the area. If she did not see success she would send another 60 to the lines. Except she knew of a way to pester the Canadians. She started to say orders to her adviser who wrote down her demands to the military. STIA unmanned spy aircraft to search for encampments were to be sent, when Military complexes were found they were to be immeadiatly bombarded by Missiles, Aircraft, whatever worked, and Fre'zhi were to be ordered to cross the border, go within the mountains and bring skirmishes to the Utopian Militaries. The other Fre'zhi were to locate the leader of the Black eyed people and to report back a sort of agreement where they would be very rewarded for their services to St Oz.

Thomas Richards looked over the reports of Ozian military buildup in the northern regions of Acadia. With the riots, this wasn't the best time for a military buildup. All of the bases and military units were put on full alert. But Thomas wanted to do this in a diplomatic way. He could stop the riots, but to go against the Ozian military was madness. He remebered the kindness of the Sancta when they almost went to war with Myroria over former Annabe. But they were able to convince the Myrorians to hand Annabe to Canada and turn it into the Kingdom of Quebec. Now, the spots had been reversed. He had to find out what the Ozians wanted and he needed to try to do it in a diplomatic way. Thomas had a deep respect of the Ozians, but he also knew that reason the Ozians didn't throw their weight around was because they didn't have to. He sent this.

We fully know you could swat our military aside like it was a tick, but I feel that as reasnable people we can discuss this. I don't want war and I am sure you don't want war. We wish to meet you

General, we could talk as ordinary people but there's a problem, you're a tick that I must flick off. This "Acadia" will cease to exist now and become administered under Ozian Military. We do not trust any Ardanians or Eastians to administer a nation of O. It sounds reasonable for a nation of O to look after a nation of O. I will not have this Imperialism so close to our borders. Irnotia has already pushed it but directly connected to our borders is too much. I'm giving you and your Eastians a month to leave. Within this month you will get a period of... "Warning Shots". I know I helped the Canadians gain Quebec but the thing is we hate Myroria more than we do Canada-Quebec. I've been to enough talks so far and most of them achieve nothing.

General Thomas Richards looked out at the Dominion of Acadia. He had been called a lot of things. "The Boy General", the Hero of the Empire, but he wouldn't be called a coward. He would rather be called a good man. He tried to talk like a reasonable man with the Ozians, but if they threaten war if the Canadians don't leave, than war is something the Canadians will have. But the Kaiser and the Chancellor are not here, the Military Governor of Acadia is here. His word is law. He picked up the phone. "I want all Canadian military units in Acadia to leave immediatly. The Ozians have shown their cause to make war. But I will not have my men fight a war against impossible odds. We need to be gone in twenty-four hours. Those who are close to the Salestia-Minor border, escape across the border. Transport planes will be waiting for you. As I have said, I will not fight a war against impossible odds. This needs to be done." He hung up and shook his head. He knew the others will see him as a coward, but he remebered some advice he got from Marshal Rommel after the loss of Saskatoon. It takes brave men to fight a war, but it takes a smart man to know when he has lost. He didn't want to have a war against the Ozians, because he knows they would lose anyway. But he looked out. He picked up his phone. "Ready my jet."

Amidst the Ozian military build up around, Delfian, Saletsian and UASS territories, I would like to remind the Divine Sancta of the nature of Utopia being a conglomerate of (former) UASS nations - meaning all civilian inhabitants of the region are from the UASS nations that helped build it much. Amongst these nations are New Delfos and Saletsia which now claim only the areas they have worked with during the UASS membership. It is not merely a landgrab imperialistic sense but claiming what we have worked for. We are open for diplomatic talks.

After a while the new batch of MX8 AVs had arrived and the entire Saletsian-Minor military was put on highest alert amidst rumors of Ozian expansionist movements. Furthermore, key installations and infrastructure has been planted with bombs in order to destroy everything of value if necessary. It was an either or situation: either Saletsian were allowed to keep what they worked for while n the UASS or they would not allow anyone else to profit from it.

Moreover the borders to all neighboring countries aside from the Delfian territory were being mined. MiG-35 and F-5T jets with their Python AAMs were constantly patrolling the skies while radar stations searched them for unauthorized aircrafts. Cluster bombs were also taken out from the dpots fitting some F-5Ts with them. The entire population was given handguns and older rifles from the stock. In case of war, Heshaidon was to be defended until a fitting solution was found for the problem.

You talk about Diplomacy and you mobilize, you talk about peace and you bring weapons, and finally you talk about conglomerates of hard workers and you take their work. I never minded the Utopians for they were peaceful, quiet, and just wanted to live. Until these... Changes came along. You started to militarize the area and take hold of what the people have accomplished. I won't give this message peacefully, for we're not stupid, we have seen your fortifications and your tanks and your detonation charges. I want to let you also know this conflict is not for my ambition, this conflict is for stabilizing the border of the divine lands. All those who violate it will perish by the Ozian sword. Be careful about what you say again Governor. These aren't your lands.

In that instant after she sent the message she told her high Admivi, "Start the Operations, this message won't be sent peacefully."

He bowed to her easily "Yes divinity." He flipped his phone and contacted headquarters.


The various men and women at Ozian Missile Command were watching the big hockey game on the television and each worker had their own team that they cheered for. In this case it was practically split in half as each cheered the other. But as there was great hype they then received a call, the highest ranking officer got up from the terminal from where the game was at and answered it, "Hello?"

The Ozian dropped the phone back on the hook and yelled out "Stations everyone! We have the Fires of Gaea to unleash!"

They eyed him for a moment but then turned off the television, put down their drinks, and ran to their terminals. Silos, mobile launchers, airports, etc were all contacted. The officer opened up the Missile sequence from STIA. It was a list of all the latitudes and longitudes of target buildings, factories, warehouses, airports, cities, and anything. At the same time the silos were preparing not only ballistic missiles but biological agents and napalm warheads. The officer yelled on com "Release the fires when ready!"

Missiles from all over Ozian soil were being launched on one target, Saletsia-Minor. Each city was the target of about 30 Ballistic Missiles, 100 Cruise Missiles, 30 Napalm Warheads, and 10 Spirit Takers (Hydrogen Cyanide Warhead).

The City that would be hit the most was Heshaidon and would get about 3 times as much abuse as the other cities. The main targets were Factories, Administration Buildings, any radar sites, Military Camps, and Anti-Aircraft sites. The flight path of the Cyanide was going to be Civilian areas where there were refugees or in the deep city.  Napalm was targeted on Infrastructure anywhere in the city, meant to devastate the buildings of the area including the new area of the international University.

Poly-static radar were on extra alert for any signs of retaliation and all the airports of St Oz were ready for anything. Pilots went on full alert and the aircraft were being readied. The Legendary Staii-7 would be awaken once again if necessary.

The Message was not peaceful.
