Current Factions

Fugazi Core (Myself)
highly skilled in military actions they have small numbers but are highly effective. they wish to set up a military led socialist govornment.
they use the thompson M1928 and AK47 and XM26 LSS
Lead by Christiana Fear.

Kallisti Group (Bustos)
richest of the factions their troops have superior weapons but lack tactics. they wish to have a free market republic.
they use the Robinson Armaments XCR rifle, caliber 6.8x43mm Remington SPC, with Trijicon ACOG telescope sight and M61 Vulcan and Barrett XM500
Lead by a mysterious trading guild. they have gone underground as a black market and now support the Fugazi Core.

Daughters of Liberty (Myroria)
largest in numbers they lack weaponry but are very inventive and do well for themselves. they wish for a democratic libertarian state.
they use the anarchists cookbook and whatever Alvar Hanso provides them.

Night Lords (St. Oz)
smallest of the factions they have large funds and highly trained troops. they wish to place the elder worshiping upper class.
they use the AK-108 and FN M249 SAW
Lead by Master of the Night Nero Hastur.

Before I make my choice, what is the current government of Uichi Ryu?  What do they want to change it from?

Or, conversely, are any of the factions trying to preserve a system already in place?

"Democratic" libertarian state = Jennifer Gov't US.

indeed thats right and as it stands there is no govornment. the different factions are running differnt essential services. all under the Night Lords who have been running things for years. the population is just becoming too violent, so a govornment is being formed. these factions all want to run it.

alright it begins.

 In a small ghetto in the Bachan quarter. A Kallisti drug dealer was making his rounds, when he saw a group of armored indeviduals. thirteen women in turtle armor made thier way up the street passing out food. they had spotted him but kept thier pace liesurely. he activated his walkie talkie.
 "hey guys, we have a situation"
 "what sort?"
 "Fugazis"
 "shit.... how many?"
 "like thirteen!"
 "fuck... we are on the way."
 *static*
 The Fugazis pulled out thier AK-47s and took aim. The dealer tried to take cover but barely made it a foot before he strongly resembled swiss cheese.

 The Fugazi Core members reported back to command. this was routine in these parts.

 The Green Family troops were being moved out of Carcossa. the Night Lords had gotten too good at being thier adversaries. enough casualties to make the largest of the factions become number three on the list.
 The Van turned down an undeveloped road. the jungle scenery was very soothing. the troops were finaly starting to relax, when suddenly a large explosion demolished the Van. the only one to survive the explosion was the driver. she clung to her daughters picture as the Daughters of Liberty delivered the coup de grace.

"We got some Fugazis rolling in our territory.  Time to protect ours!"  The group of men and women cheered, raising their guns into the air before jumping into three separate armored SUVs.

Leaving their local headquarters, three black SUVs entered the streets with their occupants preparing their rifles.

"Has Billy Bob given any updates down there?"

"No response since."

"Damn those bastards."

[Talmann]

"Jill, have you heard anything from group 22?"
"No, Agent. I'm afraid the Daughters of Liberty may have gotten them. The road DID travel through part of their territory..."
"Territory, schmeritory! Does it look like I care? May I remind you that we're fighting for the entirety of Uichi Ryu? Oh, well. Plenty more where they came from. They weren't the best fighters either, heck! They might of just helped us! Tell the others, right away. Perhaps the Daughters of Liberty will fall easier than the Night Lords..."
"Right away, Agent."
As the news spread, so did the hatred for their enemies. With the growing hatred, grew an uneasy tension in the air. Agent Green finally came out and spoke to them.
"As you have already heard, the Daughters of Liberty have attacked us with no cause. We were peaceful! And yet they still attacked and killed 50 people. I am as angry as most of you. And I feel that the Daughters need to be punished! What say you!?" *cheers and gunshots into the air*
"Then we attack at dawn..."

 "we must take the ghettos. once the people see our copassion they will flock to our cause."
 "yes i understand madame, but what of the kallisti?"
 "do not fret soldier, thier tactics are primitive. remember we are the survivors of the proud Uichi Ryan Special Forces. sure they have better weaons... but it matters not, we shall prevail."
"so we move at dawn madame?"
 "indeed. may the unclean kallisti blood flow as a mighty river....."
