ooc: I'll do it. I'll probably lose, but hell, it will be fun.

"Meneldur, this is Chancellor Yuri von Hessian from the Empire of Canada. I was wondering if I could have moment of your time. I am moving the Canadian forces north into the southern island of TGR. I feel that the southern island will make a fine addition to our empire and will help contribute to an Iron Shield. The Iron SHield will be a wall of Canadian and Myrorian colonies that will shied the home countries from threats. Seeing that the TGR forces greatly outnumber those of my soldiers. I was wondering if you could join me in this and help me build my empire."

Meneldur breathed out.

"You know, the G Rebellion is huge. It'd be tough even if I threw everything I got at 'em. You know, there's a colony of Bustos in the same region. Granted, it's smaller, but Supremo's just north of there, and it, like Bustos, fell not too long ago. Or, there's a couple of Mercantilist Dominions to the west of the South Plains, and to the Northeast of the G Rebellion. Mercantilist States is still around, but, as I see it, it's quickly losing it's grip (Read: 18 days inactive). If you were to get one of those, or, if you wish, both of those suggestions, you'd get more of a 'wall' than the clump to the far west.

Of course, invading Supremo would present a small problem. It's Filipino, like Saletsia, and we don't want to bring the UASS into this if it decides it wants to protect it. If you chose to take my offer, you could wait until Emma and the UASS signs the peace treaty; as I heard it last night from her hotel room, we'd pay them in exchange for no interferance in any of Pax Imperium's colonialist expansions. Well, you decide what you want to do."

Alright, I will order the battle fleet to pull away from TGR. I think I will go for the Mercantilist Dominions then I will go for Supremo and the Bustos colony. Do you still want to help?

"I was just asking for your help just in case another country tries to block me. But I would like some soldiers. Maybe you can send volunteers. It would be a pleasure to see Myrorians in action."

The carriers got word. TGR was no longer the target. The target was to the northeast. The Canadian fleet was ordered to take the smaller, more vunerable Mercantilist Dominions.

"Alright then, the targets are the Mercantilist Dominions to the northeast. The Bustos colony will be the last to fall. I will have my colonial troops take the eastern Mercantilist Dominion. Then finally, the Mercantilist States and Supremeos themselves will be annexed.

The fleet was nearing the Mercantilist Dominion coastline. The transports hurried their cargo towards the beach. The CF-35s patrolled the air, just in case the locals decided to fight back. The Ontario-class battleship British Columbia prepared to fire it's weapons. The Toronto cruisers did the same. If there was going to be a fight on the beach, then they would be ready. The infantry made their way onto the beaches. Leopard tanks, APCs and mobile artillery were brought up on larger transports. The infantrymen moved up the beach towards the first town.

The occupants of the town looked out their windows to see he newcomers. They passed through the streets until the army got to the town center. They lowered the Mercantilist flag and folded it respectfully. Then they hoisted the Canadian flag. The birth of the empire where the sun never sets is about to begin.

Deputy Chancellor William Crawford picked up his phone when he got the message. "Get me the Mercantilist Companies CEOs. Yes, all of them.

"they seem to want to become the new govornment and want our cooperation. sir."

his aide hands him the statistics.

Chancellor Yuri of Canada.

The Empire of Mor'os is currently in full and legal possession of three islands, purchased from the government of the Mercantilist Dominion, in the Mercantilist States. If we find that the Empire of Canada has done anything to violate this sovereign territory of Mor'os we will be greatly displeased and offended, and may if necessary take this as an act of war. Likewise, we do not expect any interference in the waters around these islands.

OOC: That's madness. Are we going to invade whoever having a summer vacation? The merc has not even CTE'd!

Takasia is gravely concerned about the current aggression against our long lasting trading partner of Mercantilist States. With our huge number of tradesmen and tourists in the country, together with the two islets we own, we are to request your forces to stop the aggression immediately.

Ambassador to Canada, Lukas Dvorak

Upon receiving this news, the whole Takasian government and Mercantilist population in Takasia are highly alert.
On the other hand, the OPATSEG now busied themselves with their new operations in mainland Canada.

We do not want this becoming an international incident. I recommend withdrawing your soldiers until things cool down, then head west from the South Plains. Myroria will be doing so, and it is reccommended you do as well.

We will not interfere with the sovereign territories that you have purchased from the Mercantilist States. I will be moving my soldiers to the South Plains and the transaction between myself and the various companies of the Mercantilist States is a private matter. This is not an aggresion. My soldiers landed on a Mercantilist Dominion before we could call them off. We don't want this to turn into a international incident. I will not forcably invade the Merc States. This will be done peacefully. We are not terrorists.

The Takasian government and various Takasian companies are some of the major shareholders of the "various companies of Mercantilist States". Any "private transaction" between such companies has to be carefully consulted with the Takasian government. We request your armed forces once again to stay away from the South Plains immediately before any escalation of the matter.

We have already stated that we will respect all members of the Mercantilist State companies. We are even allowing the Merc companies to continue their business without Canadian interference. That is what brought them to the table. They back the new government and I will respect all sovereign islands and the companies themselves. The soldiers on the way to the South Plains are being recalled home. As a sharholder that is greatly concerned. Perhaps you would like to send an obsever to the meeting so that we can all discuss the matter at hand.

OOC: Actually, I believe you really should wait for some time. The Merc has not CTE'd, and I don't think it is good to see the country being annexed after some vacation. Merc was last active in the forum on July 5, merely one week ago.

As shareholders of Mercantilist companies, we do not endorse or even recognize the new government. We believe other international shareholders such as CAP, Talstadt and Black Death are sharing similar opinion upon the occupation.

We request the restoration of the original and legitimate government of Mercantilist States at once, or we have no choice but to resolve this matter forcefully.
