Poll

With regard to the Supreme Court's ruling, is the individual mandate of Obamacare justified under Congress' power to tax, or its power to regulate interstate commerce?

The ruling is out! What do you think about the individual mandate? Will the Court's decision be important in any way?

Edit:

Decision can be found, among other places, here.

It's a tax. I support the Green stance on this, and see it as unconstitutional. I also support a singlepayer healthcare system that is gradually phased in over a period of 10 years. Starting off with this worthless, and hastily drafted propaganda piece of legislation is the wrong way to start that process.

This legislation isn't socialist. it's based on Romney's state health plan, which has left over 40% of the population in Massachusetts with even higher costs of healthcare and massive cuts in other social services and programs just to close budget gaps. It's worthless, not socialist.

Why do you see this tax as unconstitutional?
