Instead of going to the map thread we could go to the links at the top of the page that says maps.

Can we add dot colonies. Its a tiny dot that we can add a name to. It can either be a city-state or an island.

Can we have some sort of chatbox to talk to quickly?

I think the map is currently linked from the portal page. The discussion of colonies I think would be better suited to the roleplay boards.

We tried a chatbox before, I think it used up too many resources, and was redundant since we can already chat with each other on the IRC channel. It's #taijitu on EsperNet, and we even have a web client at irc.taijitu.org for people who don't have IRC clients.
