Taijitu Membership in NationStates
« on: March 20, 2008, 05:10:22 PM »
Didn't Taijitu have over 1000 nations a few months ago?  What happened?
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

NationStates is dying. Many people just quit playing.

I noticed that some of the people running for delegate pointed that out...

we also had a severe lack of recruiters

Is Pragmia (a.k.a. Cornelius Snuffles) the only one?  I remember he recruited me...

The recruiting situation is dire, indeed.  I feel like a crappy recruiter seeing as I can't even use Toaster... my work network blocks it.  >_<  Potentially getting internet at home soon, though, at which point I'll work my little behind off to recruit.

 ???

Yes, any help with recruitment is welcome. The pool of newcomers is still there, just that too few of us are still out there, fishing. As far as I'm concerned, the region who has the power to again rise in numbers and also use them, can accomplish far more than was possible a year ago. If any Taiji wants to help the region, the best way he can do that is to recruit.

If someone will show me or tell me how you do it I will at least try.

I second that sentiment.

All you have to do for now is apply here to become a recruiter.  Once we've verified that your citizenship is in good standing and you're accepted, instructions will follow.  ;D  Thank you for your interest in helping the region grow!

If you do apply and get masked, please actually recruit. That's annoying when people don't. The list in the toaster of "recruiters" is massive. Of course I'm not one to talk. I haven't recruited in months, but I had my hayday.
