indeed love, it will take a few months as my current goals are rather leangthy but after their accomplishment i can take a week of vacation and drive on down. i'll just have to behave and not attempt to make you fall for me while i'm there

"Possibly" mean?  O_o  I don't see that kind of thing as "inconsequential"; when someone betrays you that deeply they have likely wrought very serious negative consequences in your heart, mind, and life.  That is the definition of a consequential person.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but I have absolutely no respect for those who cheat on people they supposedly love.  When people betray that sort of trust they show what kind of uncaring souls they truly have.  They crush psyches, rip families apart (if such are involved), and destroy lives.

I stand by the word "slut" for occasions such as this; a rude, ugly word for an equally rude and ugly action.

As far as I have understood, inconsequential means to break expected action/thought patterns, and if saying one thing for weeks and then doing something that says the opposite isn't inconsequential, then I don't know what is. And 'possibly' was added due to me not beeing sure of any of the circumstances in the case.
As Neil wrote it, I could interpret it as if the monogamous relationship was with him or that he was her lover and that she then cheated on either him or both him and someone else, with a third.

Finally, I abhorr the use of words with a derogatory sexual charge in all situations due to the stigma they impose.

Oh, I see what happened there!  "Inconsequential" means the consequences of something are negligible or that it is insignificant.  The fact that "sequential" refers to things that are parts of an unbroken succession or chain must not help - English is a damn confusing language.

Mm, yes. In this case the word it contains consequence, not sequence. If there was such a word to mean broken and not following in a series, that would be insequential. In fact, if the word "inconsequential" did contain "sequence" the result of the double negative from "con" and "in" would mean "sequential".
