Taijitu Meet Up?

alright i had this idea while reading Al's blog.
most things like myspace and othe communities eventualy do a meet up where all the members available meet at a predesignated area preferabley a place with refreshments, a dance floor and a bar. i think we should do such a thing for all the members of the Taijitu Community! what do you guys think? anyone for or against? any ideas of where when and how much?

I love the idea of everyone meeting somewhere public (and hence safe - no stalkers allowed! ;)), but the majority of Taijitu's community is spread out over several continents.  I wonder if the logistics would defeat the motion, as it were.

Seriously, though, my travel budget is a big fat '0' at the mo' and is likely to remain so.  Hell, the only reason I went to Virginia this weekend is because I didn't have to put up a dime for transport and my friends and I shared a single tent site.  ::)

What we need to do is develop some sort of free, instantaneous method of transportation... I'll get on it right away, never fear!

i probably wouldn't be able to come. but i bet we could have maybe a webcam chat or something... or we could just play fallen earth together when it comes out.

I'd be up on the idea as long as it was done in Canada (NOT QUEBEC *Taco has bad flashbacks to the many run ins he has had with the Quebecois*) since I stay out of the US and have no money to get off the continent. We could always have a hippie drum jam  ;D
