Would anyone be interested in a historical RP section of the RP area?

Also should we set it in part of the Taijitu we use for modern day RP, If so shall we just concentrate on one continent (due to the smaller scope of older nations).

Also what part of history should we do, ideas I've had have been ancient (e.g. roman greek Egyptian celts type RP), Dark age (goths, vandels, saxons, Franks, remnants of old empires), early medieval (Anglo saxons, vikings, etc), middle medieval (norman invasion period), Late medieval (knights, agincort crecy the reconquista), Renaissance (Tudors, dutch revolt, armada, early overseas colonies), 30 years war (30 years war, english civil war etc), Napoleonic (do I need to go into this).

I suggest that really late medieval to renaissance should be the maximum we consider due to the fact that after this point the states that occur in modern day world start to be formed.

If enough people are interested I'll put up polls to vote on it.

erm Taijitu has it's history. There's references somewhere...can't really find the topic. There were large empires (virtually ruling every corner of taijitu world), and the rest is up to the nation to RP. Most of them really RP it, others (like i will do) will add to the national statistics.

I know I was just wondering if people wanted to RP in pre-modern tech and also whether it was feasible to do it in what is now modern day Taijitu, we don't have to do it in anything to do with the modern day RP we could make an entirely separate one, or a Real world pre-modern tech.

Actually I started Talstadt in late medieval period, and then advanced it rather quickly to keep up with world standards. I wouldn't mind a historical RP section, in fact, I would love it as I understand that kind of warfare best.

You know, the only things set about the main RP area are that no fantasy and no sci-fi. Historical, off-canon games qualify, ne?

There is a sci fi one but I was unsure whether there would be people wanting to do pre modern RP and also what the demand would be (i.e. whether we should do our own little rp's or could we get a sub forum)

I think stating that it's off-canon or set in the past is sufficient. Also, I might be interested in playing a historical RP, though characters, not nations.
