Higgs Boson
« on: July 05, 2012, 12:34:02 AM »
Could scientists have finally found it?

Note: By "found," I mean that they've observed it with an acceptably small chance of error - it was noticed a bit earlier, but experimental physicists like to be *very* sure before they announce things. If it isn't the Higgs Boson as predicted, it's almost certainly something new, which is just as good, if not even more interesting.

Thoughts, Taijitu? Any resident physicists around?

Well if the Higgs Boson lets them put mass into equations more easily maybe they will figure out how mass allows for gravity.
