Ah, seems this time we won't be able to defeat England again. I believe Croatia was damn strong and is a good candidate, maybe the golden times of Croatia came once more. But from there to keep the 'creator of football' away from the Europeans is too damn radical.

Any team nowadays have the chance to win, happened to Greece last Euro...defeating us with counter-attacks and thick defense...good for them with their effectiveness, but sure we were out of luck, so many attacks and we couldn't score enough.
As Scolari said, Any team in the euro is strong enough, even the ones there are there for the first time, they have prooven their value for qualifying to it, so why aren't they as strong as others?

So..what's happening to modern football? Good players aren't enough against the best tactics? What do you need, a good couch and that's it?

As someone who dislikes spectator sports, I'd say you'll need a damn good couch to make it work.

You might have a damn good one but I just have an armchair and it's barely decent enough to watch anything from.

Why don't you buy something more comfortable?

So I could rot my brain in front of TV instead of spending the money on something much more delightful? Hey, if you like that, I won't stop you but leave me out.

Aren't you rushing a little bit? Yes Croatia is a solid candidate. Let the Portuguese flame their soul and you'll see us again in the euro final, but this time we're prepared to win against Greece or whoever..as long it isn't the French that always win with penalties.

Sounds like you'd win if you were able to. Ergo, you're not.
