Come on peoples. This guy has one post and he just arrived and comes up with this idea.
Can`t you smell the typical forum troll?
From my opinion he just came here to stir up trouble.
Besides have you seen HIS nationstates data?
I don`t think this is worth fighting over.
Just ignore him.
That really hurts those people.
The power we hold comes from our citizens.
And they may take it away as well.

Hi Nelson.  You know, when I first arrived on NS, I assumed that nations were supposed to belong to regions with similar types of government and that sort of thing.  But that turned out not to so.  You'll find that regions hold nations of every kind.  It really isn't important.

And everyone else - he is new here.  He made an assumption about the way things go.  Let's not go shooting him for a mistaken newbie assumption, okay?   :P

a responsible member of Taijitu,...

I suggest that we remove all UN-Classified Psychotic Dictatorship and Iron-Fist nations immediately from Taijitu.

You know your nation is ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, right?

1 post...99 million...true, Mama Khab, he's just new.

"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

I was going to look it up, but I realised it probably means something like Must Be A Joke.

Which I disagree with. It's more likely just a new guy unfamiliar with how Taijitu works, or a deliberate troll. Either way, it's probably best to just ignore him.

Why do we need to aim?  We catapult them out of here, not catapult something at them.

Taijitu, is supposed to be a Utopia for those fleeing oppression

Yes, you are right, but in the wrong context. Taijitu was created by its Founders after having been ejected from their former region and having been oppressed there for many months. People can do as they please with their nations, but it is the forum and the region in general that is being referred to in that sentence.

I hope this clears things up :) If not, drop me a PM and I'll be happy to help.

How can we flee oppression when anyone has power? [insert complaints about any and all forms of hierarchy]

That said, the only way to avoid oppression is to oppress harder.

The OP's post wasn't as far-fetched as it sounded.  Some NS regions DO kick nations for being the "wrong" government type.  I wouldn't assume that he's a troll (though it's possible).  "Innocent until proven guilty" applies to alleged trolls too.
