Milan was highly superior, they could attack, something that Liverpool did not, was a bad game in overall, but Milan dominated the match even without the ball possession. Their counter-attacks were deadly, they deserved it.

Plus Gerard was playing sh1t, and Crouch didn't do anything, i would rather leave him sit

You’ll never walk alone?… Walk with MILAN  :P

Milan deserved to win, no doubt about that, as far as am I concerned. A beautiful way to end the season, and yet another crown for Italian football after the World Title last year.

Liverpool was rather disappointing, determination is not always enough, and what the luck is concerned, it moves from one to the other. I consider that it was Liverpool who lacked the luck they had two years ago when they turned a game by playing only 6 minutes. Milan has controlled the game, I have not seen any balls catapulted away by the defenders, but elegant play and constructive passing....and Inzaghi was ruthless, as ever.  8) Anyway, the game could have done with a bit more pace, nice show nonetheless.

I'm sure Sir Alex has enjoyed the wine Ancelotti has sent him.  :drunks:

and we couldn't expect anything else from after the game, normally violent English after football games with the polemic violent Italians about their own league? It's shameful that things like this happen when EU is trying to build bridges with other cultures showing football as a good thing. "oh let's to a football match with middle eastern countries, that would be great!" <- I'm more concerned of what happens after the match, and what will they thing of Europeans? lol, they come with sh1t talk about being civilized and we get punched from every direction after the matches?

But anyway :p violence after football matches is everywhere in Europe.

Milan was clearly superior. I expect a Portuguese team in the finals next time, we're always so close...lol, this Final was very poor, any leading Portuguese team could have won the Final against either Milan or Liverpool. I also expect Portugal in Euro Final once again, and in the World Cup :p, those French won with a penalty, and Germany deserved 3rd place anyway...

;D that's a hell of a statement! I agree on the stupid display of violence though. I tell you what I'd do: I'd allow the mounted police from all-around the world to practice on those idiots.

...in the basis the game was poor from both sides, only Milan shown great counter-attack ability..and good defense, that's just it.

::) if it only was that easy...all would do it. Remember Greece becoming European Champions? That looked easy. It's not. What Milan is playing is an elaborated and well-practiced game and few European teams can go there with regularity. I would love for a Portugese team to win the League and break-down the monopol of the big clubs, but they would need a lot of luck to get there, methinks. Latin football is what I like to see, but the combination between creativity and rigurosity some English teams are playing is not unattractive at all. ;)

true...don't know how the Greeks done it...anyway i have the same opinion, Latin and 'english' football have nothing to do with each other, and when they crash into each other (Portugal vs England for instance) it turns in a weird game, either we are winning, either the English are winning, we end up tied and go for penalties...we end up winning because we have better goalkeeper :p

No, its cuz the English players can't handle the pressure...

World 1990 vs Germany (The German goalie cheated)
Euro 96 vs Germany (That was really painful)
World Cup 98 vs Argentina
Euro 2004 vs Portugal (Damn you)
World Cup 2006 vs Portugal (Damn you again :P)

"There are a couple of passages about that Portugal and England match that really capture the moment. Hopefully we will see a similar display of wonderful football today regardless of whether the outcome is the same or different than it was in 1966."

You seem to forget
Romania - England 2-1 (World Cup 1998)
Romania - England 3-2 (Euro 2000)
There seems to be a problem with Neo-Latin football  ;)  :D
