The Invasion
« on: September 16, 2007, 01:01:58 AM »
OoC: Ok, no offense to any one about this. I just decided to make a Alternate history therad. anybody can join. There a 3 groups. The US Army, the Red Army, and The Local Citzens. Tghe Red Army can try to infucle citizens to help them, and the US army can try to get them to become gurrila fighters. Note The year is 1962

The War began with out most peolpe knowing it. Within hours, Wasthgion DC was taken over before they could fire missiles. The president and his cabinet was killed. The US army was being pushed back towards Ohio. The Red Army was pushing forward, taking over town by town. The Local Citizens were shocked, but tired to get on with there lives. One of these ciztens was one named Vlaktko. He was a Homeless man, and sometimes worked as a unskilled Labouer. He still lived uner a bridge, but now, Red Army soldiers patroled daily. After he got up, he looked around. No soilders.

"Well, now i can go on with my day"

Vlaktko put his knife into a pocket, and walked out from under the bridge. He saw ciztens walking around, Patrols, and saw a few jets flying around

I wonder what am i going to eat...?

OOC: Because we are in the fantasy board, can we use fantasy powers, eg, my nation has a form of Jedi unit.

Ben Falkirk really hated invasions. Yet ever since Flamaca-Nisomia had been accepted into the Red Army, it had been nothing but invasions. Always with the invasions. Can't just sit back for a while, but had to rule the world. He'd write to his local politician when he got back home, for all the good it did.

Falkirk didn't like invasions, because no matter where you went, it was known that you were an enemy. And sometimes civilians tried to take the war into their own hands, because they couldn't be bothered with boot camp. And when that happened, Falkirk had to kill them, and he hated killing civilians. Go figure. He was a soldier with a conscience.

Today, Falkirk was on infantry duty. He didn't much like this, either. He much preferred to be safely cocooned in his jet, but the weather didn't permit it. Too much wind and rain. Yes, he had used his powers to bubble himself, keeping him dry, but that didn't stop the day looking miserable. It also didn't stop the annoyed glares from the other members of his team. They were drenched. He was part of EEx-PATU, a group of ten English Ex-Pats, who had come to Flamaca to get away from the constant wet, only to be stuck in this. Yes, Major Benjamin Falkirk was a pessimist. No, he didn't care.

OOC: Just introductory for now, can't be bothered with storyline right now.

OOC: No offense...but this is based on the Cold War, and in the USA.
