Suddenly a figure out of the dark wearing a white servant's robe jumped up through the roof and kicked the guy who had Kayo in the face. "Tensor get yourself and your minions out of here NOW!" the servant said unsheathing a sword called Vampire Tooth.

"No, I don't think I will-erm what is your name?"

"Arron Amman, Kayo's Dad, I had to let him think I was dead so I could protect him. Take me instead."

Arron flew at Tensor with his sword; a stupid move because Tensor had pulled out his staff and whacked him across his stomach, knocking the wind out of him.

(Tensor? Its a SHE.)

Tensia recover from the hit. "I see the old man still has his moves...no matter. I will bring more men. Once I have the blood of you and your son, Lord Colic will take your kingdom."

Sheathing her blade, she and her minions jumped onto the roof and scurried away, disappearing into the shadows.

"Good! Now to tend to Kayo and that boy he was with." He went to Kayo and slapped him awake. "KAYO!
Wake up!" Kayo stirred and looked into the man's azure eyes and thought he had seen these same eyes before.

"Hey Ezekiel, thanks for saving me, now tend to Cameron please." He found Cameron sitting on a bench, clutching his shoulder.

"Pl-please help me!" said Cameron desperately, looking into the man's eyes helplessly. Arron rushed over to Cameron and said "Vigoratus is puer per vestri divinus vox!" The deep piercing cut vanished and got replace with new skin.

"Thank you kind sir! May I ask you your name?" said Cameron sitting up and straighting himself out.

"You certainly may! It is Ezekiel Kuza." replied Arron

"Ah! You lie, I know your secret(Cameron had this kind of power) you are Arron Amman Deliene, Kayo's dad." whispered Cameron

Arron was astonished, he had no way of deceiving him because he had the power we call Mens Lectio or Mind Reading.

A dark portal appears on the ground miles away.  Out of it rises a young boy of perhaps fourteen years.  He is dressed in simple black clothes with a heavy dark cloak.  He steps through the woods he's emergedin, walking down a trail, where it leads he knows not; but it is clearly man-made, and that is all he needs to know.  His skin is pale, his hair is black, and his eyes are soulless black orbs.  I've been running too long.  I need to create a Shroud.  And to get a Shroud, I'll need either Dark Essence or Blood.  And Blood is so much easier to get.

Eventually he comes to a small village.  Perfect...This place is perfect.

Fear not, Loyan, I carry plot twists of my own, and I have much better dramatic timing.

The tavern was smoky. Calixto was sitting down, playing cards. He had lost many fourtnes lately, but, he felt that he could win this one. sure, he had a somewhat deformed body. Its not everyday you see a man whos 4 feet taller then most, and has scaly patch's of skin. But, it helped him when he had to some Soldier Work. He layed down his cards. He lost, again. He pciked up his leather Armour, his spear, his Axe and his bed roll, and walked outside. He walked over to his horse, patting her gently.

"Well, me and you are going to have to find some work, 'eh?"

Calixto walked over to the news Hawker. Generally, where there's war, there was work for a soldier for hire. The Hawker was saying something about some army coming to attack some castle.

Calixto mounted his horse, and trotted off to the area. He had work. He began doing it, when he say a littile kid. He got off the horse, and began wlaking.

" Hey!"

(OOC: I suggest you all get accounts on imeem.com, as I'll be using it to give my posts a soundtrack to set the mood.)

Perfect...an entire town full of people.  People with Bodies.  People with Blood.

"Hey!" called some massive, scaley thing.  The boy was reminded vaguely of a Shadowsoldier.  Except, of course, this thing wasn't a Shadow.

"Well, its not everyday you see some kid with a robe. I was wondering if you where looking for somebody"

Calixto say the same look most people gave him. The "What are you, you monster" look.

It's a cloak...the boy thought to himself, but, being a diplomatic kid, did not make his annoyance known.  Apparently this creature wanted to help him.

"Yeah, I'm looking for someone.  His name is Ekarde, he's just a few years older than me, blonde hair and blue eyes.  We're...brothers.  He should be here soon."

Claxtio thought for a moment. He rubbed his dirt strewn hand across his chin , spreading dirt everywhere.

"You know, i think i saw him...but, hes kinda...dead. He got hanged for killing somebody. Sorry kid, must have been hard on you"

Claxtio started to walk toawrds the kid, seeing if he could comfort him.

Killed by a hanging?  Impossible.  Ekarde's not even properly alive, there's no way a hanging could kill him.  But still, if this kid is freshly dead, I may be able to use him...

"How long ago was he hung?  Where are they keeping the body?  I have to see him for myself.  I can't be sure it's him until I see him."
