Prince of the Ruby Blood

Background: A secretive cult society is after the blood of the the Dilene royal house in order to create an amulet of god-like powers. With the death of his father, Kayo remains the sole living heir to the bloodline, and the cultists are bringing their entire force to bear to capture him at the eve of his coronation.

Kayo was Walking across the courtyard singing "My Immortal" and trying to find the elusive Cameron.

"Where did that boy run off to?" he smiled as he said this and he resumed his song.

A soft singing disturbed Kayo's walk. It appeared to be coming from within the courtyard's garden.

Kayo stopped what he was doing and walked over to the garden in the courtyard. He looked around and saw nothing but he still heard the song.

Suddenly, a loud but gentle song pierces the air. It sounded like the singing from before, but much clearer and closer this time.

A dagger flew from behind and hit Cameron in the shoulder. Cameron drops down to the floor and faints. The song stops, and a dark figure drops down behind Kayo and arm locked his neck.

"We finally have you Prince," said the sweet voice. Several more figures dropped around the bench, long daggers drawn.

"You are coming with us Prince."

"So sorry, but he can't come..." The shadowy figure pinched Kayo's neck, instantly knocking out the prince. A minion piggy-backed the unconscious boy and began to make their escape through the shadows of the palace's roofs and walls.

(where's a kung fu homeless guy when you need him?)
