You may wonder why this is the
second seven week plan: it is the second term since the refounding of Taijitu. During the first term, I had a quiet, personal seven week plan. I completed much of what I tasked myself with, but not all. Now I have chosen to take the responsibility of Delegate, and so I am sharing my plan for my term, these seven weeks. We have a Taijitu which is free and fun, I say we can make it great (and even more fun).
Taijitu is an unusual region. I like to think that there are two things that make it unique. The first, is that we like to pretend we are founderless. We believe that Taijitu must be ruled by what the community wants, not what some arbitrary monarch wants. The second, is that we try to be everything a region can be. We have detailed and in-depth role play. We have regional governance. We have interregional diplomacy. We have, in years past, had an army. Today, we have a Minecraft server. While one might say it's all still nationstates sound and fury, signifying nothing, I think it is special.
We can make Taijitu big again. For that purpose there are the things Gulliver and I must do and the things we must work together to do. Gulliver and I need to complete several things to do with Toaster2 for this seven week plan. We must debug the existing, mostly-working, Toaster2 recruitment utility. We must improve its flexibility. We must expedite forum registration and add Citizen registration to Toaster2. Last but not least, we must recreate the Taijitu monetary system: the
₮.
Together we can make Taijitu a gargantuan region again. It's not particularly difficult. With renewed incentives and a superior (and soon very reliable) interface we will be in a good position to attract people who like our modus operandi to the region. Emphasizing those things we like, that we believe attract people we will like socializing with, will be the key. We will also of course continue a scientific approach, as that is part of who we are. Finally and most importantly, we can get in touch with old members and try to tempt them back with our renewed activities.
And yes, we can also build an army. Or perhaps I should say armies. Yes, I think that we can steal the idea once floated by one of our critics, and allow our members to freely choose a side, or neither, in the great raider-defender struggle. I believe this fits like a glove with the mission to be the region for everyone. With a White army which defends, a Black army that raids, and a Grey army that serves our interests and does whatever it pleases, we will indeed welcome all gameplayers. This won't hurt our interregional diplomacy either.
I have great things in mind for Taijitu. I hope you do too.

The first part of the seven week plan is that I will specify and declare it. I grant myself 48 hours from my assumption of the delegacy (that's 14 hours starting now) to fully specify and describe it. Watch this space.
