Commons Expulsion/By-election[/SIZE]

House of Commons Speaker Bootskitten recently expelled Kazaman from the House of Commons citing that in order to combat the inactivity, he has to weed out the inactive House of Commons members.
"It saddens me that this had to occur, but at the same time we must continue fighting the inactivity plague in Parliament. As elected officials, we should not always have to end up relying on His Majesty to help get legislation passed in the voting stage" States House Speaker Bootskitten.
Lord High Chancellor Atlantis, who is in charge of the government until Most Great Britannia's full return, has called for nominations, with Wennal, Cicilions, Gustavus Adolphus Rex and newcomer Woolcott running for three open positions (including the open seat that became vacant after TovoskitosPrez's resignation) in the House of Commons. The House of Commons by-election is underway, and everyone is encouraged to vote.

Activity Explodes[/SIZE] [/align]
The Empires of Earth forums saw an explosion of activity this week. This was due to many factors such as newcomer arrivals and the House of Commons by-election. One of these newcomers, Woolcott, was elected to the House of Commons, upstaging some older members. Another newcomer, New Belgium, has been spotted contributing spam and debating for the left. The surge of activity has put a feeling of optimism in the air. There are fresh faces and plenty to discuss.
Many regional government officials have taken an alternative view to the matter, expressing the need for continued growth by the means of recruitment.
The activity has brought many good things such as new bills in the House of Commons, new members of the military, a new journalist and the return of the regional cartographer. Anyway, it’s clear that it’s a grand time to be in Empires of Earth!

Empires of Earth Anniversary [/SIZE] [/align]
It is with greatest announcements that the Empires of Earth’s forum is now two years-old. On January 15, 2006, the Empire was re-founded by His Majesty, Most Great Britannia. This year was marked with many different activities, such as the resignation of SenatorTC from Foreign Affairs, Bootskitten reached a one year anniversary in Minister of Information position earlier in the year and Lord Atlantis celebrated one year as the Realms Lord High Chancellor. The realm had also been plagued with inactivity, which has since been fixed. In the world of NationStates, it is truly rare that a region reaches this remarkable feet.

Foreign Affairs Activity[/SIZE] [/align]
Minister of Foreign Affairs Bootskitten has recently created some more changes in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which includes having to assign more embassies to some of the Realms current Ambassadors and the suspension of an ambassador. Also the Empires of Earth’s foreign department has gotten more active with more regions requesting relations. “It is a wonderful month for my department. We have been doing a good job in getting this department back together again and I am happy of it” states Bootskitten.
