I'm not suprised, and while TNP has long been a friend of Taijitu, there is a bigger picture here that many are not aware of. Imagine the bureaucracy of Taijitu, as smothering as it is... multiply that time twenty, and you have TNP. The government of that region was concocted by a few people years ago, following the Pixiedance wars (aka Cathyy) and ever since has been a government AT the people, not FOR the people. Those in power have repeatedly said, "If you dont like the system, work within to change it" And many have tried, I have witnessed this first hand, as proposal after proposal has been brought up and systematically defeated.
Dalimbar's actions a few months ago were born of frustration with this system, but frankly, he was too worried about political considerations to do what needed to be done, but now Emperor Matthius, our very own Durnia, who has worked long and hard for our region, has taken upon himself the duty of fixing a long broken region.
I know that Taijitu either has... or is probably going to... send troops to assist the government of TNP, and those currently sitting in the cabinet have simply not been around long enough in most cases to know enough of the backstory and underlying causes here to make a sound decision in this case.
That is why, of my own free will, I have moved the Confederate States of Sovereign Dixie into TNP, and endorsed Emperor Matthius of my own volition. That is also why I'm asking each and every private citizen of Taijitu to do likewise, and move a UN nation into the region to support Durnia, one of our own, in his effort to set the wrong things right in a region we have been close to from the beginning, and to also state that I will openly and vehemently protest any effort by the government of Taijitu to support the Oligarchy who had for so long been causing TNP to stagnate.
