I stand again before you, the citizenry of Taijitu, on the eve of an election - one greater, perhaps, than the scores that have occurred before this. Taijitu is growing rapidly, and its members becoming more keenly aware - thinking to the region's future, not the region's next election cycle. I'm honored to stand with such admirable candidates as Letonna, McMasterdonia, Terran, and Cozulul. However, it goes without saying that only three of us can win. Many of you might be thinking why a member of the "old guard" like myself, present with Taijitu since its founding years ago, should be elected to yet another term. How can someone who has been a member of the Senate for so long stand for progress, like he says?
Change and progress are neverending. I don't believe there ever will be a point where our region will cease to need improvement. There are always things that must be done, both with the laws concerning our regional government, and with the laws that govern our founder nation. If elected to Senate I will strive to better both, but I'm more than willing to answer questions any of my fellow citizens have about my own campaign, the party I am a member of, or what I plan to do in the Senate.
