Referendum: Amendment to Open the Senate

If this amendment is passed, Article 6, Section 2 of the Constitution will be changed from:

Quote from: Article 2, Section 6
1. The Senate will constitute the leadership of the Legislative Branch.
2. The Delegate and Cabinet will constitute the leadership of the Executive Branch.
3. The Court will constitute the leadership of the Judicial Branch.
4. No person may serve in the leadership of more than one branch of the government simultaneously.

Quote from: Article 2, Section 6
1. The Speaker will constitute the leadership of the Legislative Branch.
2. The Delegate will constitute the leadership of the Executive Branch.
3. The Court will constitute the leadership of the Judicial Branch.
4. No person in the leadership of a branch of the government may serve in another branch simultaneously.

This referendum is now concluded. The amended proposed is adopted as law.
