I am [nation]Eluvatar[/nation] and I am running for Senator.

I believe I am competent, and I believe in the principles of freedom and democracy that I hope to help rebuild Taijitu on.

Please ask me questions. I hope we can resume the old Taijitu tradition of intensively questioning Senate candidates.

I plan to establish a code of law covering criminal law, due process, governance, foreign relations, and economics. I also plan to establish Senate procedures. I do intend to seek help and consult with others, of course.
I noticed that you spelled accomplish with three Cs.

As there are no senators, all of them and none of them.
As I said earlier, laws to govern what is forbidden, how the government works and establishing a new monetary system, as well as procedures to govern the Senate.

I have established the Taijitu forum, the Taijitu wiki, reestablished them, devised the original Toaster, designed Toaster2 (and hopefully will complete 1.0 tonight?), contributed to debate over our governance, operated the Ministry of Regional Security, et cetera, et cetera.
My favourite part of Taijitu is the membership.

Given that the constitution requires a majority to pass legislation, it probably isn't constitutional for legislation. It would however be entirely constitutional for Senate procedures, in my opinion.

I believe that while you can be treated as an interim justice for lack of an extant court, you should be re-nominated and re-confirmed.

I liked pretty much all of it, and at least right now I think it's pretty much perfect. I would have coded Toaster2 faster.

I have seen Avatar recently. While it isn't good by some measures, it is a masterpiece of imagery. I have read On the Social Contract recently. It was interesting, and parts of Rousseau's thought were amusing. I was surprised to learn that he thought it appropriate to exile atheists for atheism because it apparently would lead them not to contribute to society.

Nick Clegg is a nice looking fellow. I haven't actually heard him speak so I don't know how charismatic he is.

It's hard to think of anything under pressure. I suppose internet courses in journalism would help quickly come up with questions as a side-effect.

1. You used the concept "pensively" in your answer to Brother Neil of the Pha Congregation. Now, Beavis & Butthead would have quickly replied "omg you said penis". Instead I want to ask you: do you think the Senate should attempt to assume a more active role in making sure that the delegate and his cabinet will be dealing according to the will of the people than it has done before in the past of Taijitu?
