Eluvatar's Application for the Senate
« on: June 01, 2011, 04:15:14 AM »
I would like to join the Taijitu Senate.

I know what the capital of Burkina Faso is.

I believe in freedom, liberty, and apple pie.

Also, I am a cute turtle.

In all seriousness though, please ask me leading, sensitive, and even silly questions!

Где вы родились, где вы выросли, где вы живете и где вы хотите жить?

Also, do you have any proposals on how we can make this second attempt at a reboot go a bit better than the last?

Москва; Каламбус и Бостон; в Бостоне; там же.

We make sure stuff keeps happening.

There are few others in this game that I respect as much as you, good sir. Your efforts to improve this region have been endless and without number. My main question to you would be what do you see the senate's role as in terms of strengthening the community as a whole and helping Taijitu once again set itself head and shoulders above the crowd?

Why thank you.

The Senate can make swift decisions on a sweeping basis to plot the Region's course. It can get us immediately involved in interregional politics, adjusting foreign policy as benefits Taijitu. It can guide the government in repeating and exceeding Taijitu's successes of the past!

So I'll ask you more or less what I asked GC. What is your take on how the senate should interact with the exec branch?

I believe that the Senate should work with the Cabinet in discussing regional business, plans, and problems. It should help in deciding what is a priority and what is not, in getting things done, and in charting the course of the region.

Well, it can help with that at least, with advice. Avoid being a hindrance, too.
