Know of them? I just got a few of their albums. Pretty "WTF"ish if you ask me.

Good progressive rock, I have In the Court of the Crimson King, though I haven't listened to it in a while. The cd's probably in Scotland, anyway.

Great, great, great band.  I love In The Court, Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Red and Discipline.  They could also do some pretty bad stuff, but it's almost all highly experimental (noise).

I still think In the Court of the Crimson King is the best, but a lot of it truly is experimental and WTFish

A most excellent band.  ^_^  "WTF-ish" music tends to be the best kind, in my most humble of opinions.

gd or bad???

Im looking for a band that is just strange for a music class i teach for disabled students. The kinda music im looking for is say 8/12 timing. Cabaret style crazyness... any ideas? Must be clean lyrics!

Good!  They take "experimental" to a lovely level, not too extreme but far enough out there to distinguish themselves.  Of course, they don't go all weird just for the heck of it; their music is real, genuine art.

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of some of their experimental pieces.  Have you ever heard THRAKATTAK (however it's spelled)?  Good Lord.  I love still Crimson, though.
