They're drawn in different angles. For example, the greenish one is from its forward upper left corner and the purple one is facing left and viewed from the side.

Okay, I can see the red/orange one and half of the purple one now.  My eyes go insane when I try to look through the middle of all the overlapping layers at the other, though.
